Stacey Dash Explains Anti BET and Black History Month Comments

In a recent interview with PEOPLE, Stacey Dash claims she only made the anti BET and Black History Month comments because she feels black people deserve more.

Here’s an excerpt from the interview:

Growing up in a culture of drugs and violence instilled in Dash many of her views on social welfare programs today.

Says the actress: “When you get stuff for free, you have no self-worth. When you have no self-worth, you become depressed, addicted and either abused or an abuser. This is what perpetuates the cycle of violence in inner cities. We don’t need free stuff. We need opportunities.”

“When I say there should not be a BET channel or a Black History Month, I’m saying we deserve more,” says Dash. “I just hope people understand that I’m not judging; I’m coming from experience.”

  1. I wish this sellout would shut her goofy looking a-s up. When Fox replaces her with another c–n, she won’t be able to find work anywhere else because she’s a troll just like Raven Symone. They say the dumbest sh-t for attention but are too dumb to see it hurts their chances of having any kind of career outside of tap dancing for white folks.

  2. I wish people would stop giving this idiot interviews. It’s time for her and Raven to go back under the rocks they crawled from.

  3. If those are her views then fine who cares but why are people attacked for saying how they feel? I don’t know what show she on or but clearly it’s a show where opinions are expressed and everyone is entitled to their opinion

    1. Well you’re kind of contradicting yourself. Are people not entitled to their views just like Stacey is entitled to hers? Not every opinion is going to be friendly. I mean Stacey has said some nasty things herself. She just told transgender people to pee in bushes when they asked her about the bathroom situation. Let’s also not forget what she said about Obama that got her suspended from Fox for awhile, and let’s not forget what she’s said about black people in general and welfare. So yeah, you get what you dish out. If you’re nasty, don’t be surprised when people start dragging you.
