Industry Sources Claim J-Lo and Drake’s Romance is a Publicity Stunt

According to Page Six, sources in the industry believe the relationship is a stunt and it’s just a way to promote a new single.

Page Six writes:

While the “Winter Wonderland Prom” was believed to be a video shoot for their yet unnamed duet, a showbiz insider told us, “This relationship is fake, it is just a publicity stunt to publicize their record together. If Jennifer and Drake were really dating, they’d be way more private about it.”

After Drake made an emotional tribute to Rihanna at the MTV Video Music Awards in August, the source added, “Doesn’t Drake realize that it looks weird to declare his love for RiRi at the MTV awards, then start flaunting his chemistry with J.Lo a few months later?” Apparently not.

Some insiders suspect Lopez, who split with her boy toy Casper Smart this summer, may have rekindled her relationship with ex-husband Marc Anthony as the two shared a kiss Nov. 17 onstage at the Latin Grammy Awards. Anthony then filed for divorce on Dec. 16 from his third wife, model Shannon De Lima, after two years of marriage. But a source close to Anthony insists he and Lopez are not reconciling but remain close in order to co-parent their 8-year-old twins Emme and Max. Reps for Lopez and Drake didn’t respond to requests for comment.

  1. I believe it’s a stunt and they have a new song coming out. His relationship with Rihanna was a stunt as well.

  2. Of course it’s fake but it’s really ridiculous when you have two top artists faking a relationship for publicity and sales. Like come on neither one of them have to do this makes this even more pathetic smh.
