This beef between Remy and Nicki is taking multiple angles. It has even brought in Trey Songz and Hot 97’s Morning Show Host Ebro Darden. Many speculated about the origins of the beef and began dissecting both rappers subliminal bars. Through the analysis on social media, someone discovered that Nicki’s jabs may not have been directed towards Remy Ma.
In fact, many are starting to think Nicki was actually taking shots at Azealia Banks.

That’s not fair. Jay and Nas used subliminals in multiple songs before Ether and the Takeover even happened. Subliminals didn’t start with Nicki. Many rappers use them. Remy only jumped the gun because she always wanted to beef with Nicki. She is clearly jealous of her success.

I mean I’m starting to think that too now that’s it’s been a couple of days. Now I’m not a Barbie at all but you mean to tell me Remy went this hard over some jabs that weren’t even about her? Then to top it off, Nicki didn’t even go that hard in that Gucci song. She just shaded Azealia’s album sales and her money problems that she put out there herself. Remy went for the jugular and brought up who Nicki slept with, her brother, what Meek said to her in private…I mean she hit below the belt in so many ways. Like it’s hate that’s been building up quietly but in interviews, Remy would keep saying she loves Nicki and wants to collaborate. This just makes Remy look really jealous and fake honestly.
No shade but I was wondering what platinum plaque Remy has. Now this makes more sense. Either way, what’s done is done and Nicki has to respond to Remy.

Of course she did. I always felt like the love Remy showed Nicki in the past was fake as hell. She always felt like she should be where Nicki is and always hated that ish. People keep saying Nicki is a bish and hates on other rappers but they are quiet as a mouse when other females blatantly hate on Nicki.
This changes things. If the shots were for Azealia and Remy jumped up to answer when she wasn’t even being addressed, that means Remy had to be very insecure and in her feelings about her album sales. And if that’s the case, it’s not hard to believe that she’s been jealous the whole time she was pretending to be ok with Nicki. And that is part of the reason female rappers continue to struggle. They are too busy being catty to see the big picture.

I still don’t think Remy’s song was all that great. People just don’t like Nicki so they are going to pretend it’s the best thing since sliced bread. How do you use the Ether beat and struggle to have a decent flow? Remy could have came harder and this whole beef is so wack to me because it clearly stems from jealousy.

This is just another example of why celebrities need to stay off social media. The beef was instigated by haters and fans when neither probably had an issue with the other. I do believe Remy was sincere when she said didn’t have a problem with Nicki but once the blogs started declaring the shade was about her, she snapped and made the song. And now Nicki will respond so this is far from over.
Seems plausible. But if it wasn’t a beef before it’s definitely one now. Remy showed Nicki no mercy. They will probably never be cool again after this.

I’m really shaking my head the more and more things play out. The ball is in Nicki’s court so what is she going to do? She may have been talking about Azealia but that fact doesn’t make Shether go away now does it? She has to do something besides like shady tweets about Remy.

The audacity of Remy trying to pretend she’s some voice and champion for black women when she shot one in the stomach twice over money she thought was stolen. And then she bragged about that sh-t on the radio and people really want to pretend she’s somehow better character wise than Nicki? Remy is the stereotypical project chick who thinks being hood is something to be proud of. She’s violent and lacks remorse for shooting another black woman and now because of her the victim is barren! Nicki is trash for calling black women nappy headed in her music and making young black girls think they need to get a whole bunch of surgery to have confidence.
