Boosie sat down with DJ Vlad for a lengthy interview. Things became interesting when DJ Vlad asked about his relationship with his 6 baby mothers. When Vlad asked if he would ever get married, Boosie passionately said no.
According to Boosie, why get married when you’re going to cheat, especially when you have dozens of women on you nightly. He also is very unwilling to give up his money as a result of his infidelity.
Boosie said the following:
Nah, I’m not into marriage. I feel like when you bring in that paperwork, that’s when everything goes wrong.
And if you know you in that type of lifestyle, why play with that woman’s heart? Why play with that woman and tell her that you gon’ marry her when you got 60-70 Halle Berry’s at your neck or kissing on your ear every night. If 70 of em at your thing, you got turn down all 70? A couple of em’ gon’ get you.
So I feel like if you know in your heart man… you know in your heart, It’s a chance you not gon’ do right, let that woman be man. You can love that woman without that paperwork. You ain’t got to put that paperwork in. And I don’t believe in a, that split s***, and I am the bread-winner. Cause she wasn’t outside with me on the corner. She didn’t teach me how to cook cocaine. She wasn’t with me in the studio rapping all them times. She wasn’t with me… I don’t believe in that split, split. So I’m not finna marry a woman and I cheat on her, and I gotta split millions of dollars with her? H*** no.
When DJ Vlad then schooled Boosie about a prenuptial agreement one can sign with their spouse before they are married, Boosie’s logic shined once more. He feels as a relationship shouldn’t even get to that point of marriage and prenups.
Yeah. You can do a prenup, but why you gotta go all through that when you can just be happy living together? Why does it have to be marriage? Is it a traditional thing that everybody has to abide by?
I don’t understand it. Do you know the marriage/divorce rate?
Next, Vlad pressed Boosie about his feelings about marriage and when he did, Boosie’s true feelings rang true. He does not want to spend the rest of his life with one woman.
Yeah, you right but it depends on the person whose getting married. I’m not trying to sleep with one woman for the rest of my life. What, you gon’ be a swinger? What the f*ck? We gon’ swing?
Look, I’m not trying to sleep with one woman until I’m like 65.
Then, once I sleep with another woman, I’m out all my money splitting it?! I’m not with that. I’m not dappin’ that deal dog.
Towards the end of the interview, Boosie even praised Tammy Rivera and women who stay with their cheating husbands.
That’s why when you find a woman like that, you gotta keep it real with her.
That’s how they get caught cheating! They find some woman and that’s that good woman but they stay lying to her and not keep it real with her!
And they can’t keep it real because when they do. (Claps hands) It’s over.
It’s about the partnership… and she understands if you cheat they won’t divorce you.
Now I do be respecting women that be going back to they man. Who was it that took they man back… Waka Flocka’s lady [Tammy Rivera]. I respect that. All these people leaving and she go back to her man. She knows it’s bigger than that. It’s a home! It’s a family! I like women who take they men back after they cheat.

This all day! Marriage is not a bad thing. He sounds ignorant as always.
So typical. It’s always the ones with multiple kids and baby mamas who feel like they need to downplay marriage.
Honestly, men like him don’t need to ever get married. They don’t understand what monogamy is and they just need to stay far away from it.

I will never understand the idea of having children but not wanting to spend your life with someone. They are both forms of commitment. This logic is destroying our communities.

The sad thing is a lot of black men have this ignorant mentality. I’m glad Vlad brought up the fact that the wealthiest men are indeed married. And they don’t cry about having to give their ex half either.
