Kenya Moore’s Alleged Wedding Venue Speaks Out Amid Rumors (UPDATE)

It was recently reported that Kenya Moore got married at a luxury resort in St. Lucia.

However, a representative from the venue is claiming that no wedding took place.

Radar Online writes:

The Real Housewives of Atlanta star was vacationing in St. Lucia when a report claimed that she secretly tied the knot with a mystery man at the luxury Anse Chastanet.

But, Radar has exclusively learned that while the former pageant queen did lounge at the resort, there were no nuptials.

“A wedding did not take place at Anse Chastanet,” a representative for the hotel told Radar. “Her friends stayed here, and Kenya Moore spent quite a bit of time at the resort and at the beach.”

A separate source close to production told Radar that Moore was actually just on a work trip.

Atlanta blogger Straight from the A also has her own reasons for not believing the hype just yet:

Where are the legal documents? Marriage Licenses aren’t hard to find, but apparently Kenya’s doesn’t exist… or no one’s bothered to look for it.

No shade to my fellow blogstress, but if you believe that Kenya got married this past weekend, I’ve got some swamp land to sell you in Iceland!

While TamaraTattles points out that Kenya’s gay BFF was in attendance, I find it odd that her cousin Che was still in Atlanta and chilling at Six Flags over the weekend.

I would think Kenya’s family would be in attendance for such a momentous occasion such as her FIRST MARRIAGE.

Annnnnd… being that Kenya is under contract with Bravo, there’s absolutely no way she could keep a secret like this without them being involved. She would lose her peach!!

Each and every cast member was in town this past weekend, and as expected Kenya is already using the buzz to boost interest in her hair products.

UPDATE: Despite the skeptics, Kenya Moore tells PEOPLE that she is indeed a married woman:

The 46-year-old Real Housewives of Atlanta star twirled down the aisle last weekend, in an intimate beach getaway in St. Lucia surrounded by family and friends, PEOPLE can exclusively confirm.

Her husband — a businessman she first met a year ago and began dating a few months later — is choosing to stay out of the spotlight for now, his identity being kept private from the press.

“I’m just ecstatic,” the star tells PEOPLE. “This man is the love of my life and I’m so happy to begin our lives together as husband and wife.”

  1. Bwahahahaha! So I guess all of us “haters” who knew immediately that the trick was lying are gonna get an apology now, huh? And I swear I heard a stan whisper that Kenya is the realest on the show and doesn’t lie? *pulls up chair to wait*

    1. Nene signed her contract to return over the weekend. Kim Z already signed hers. Kenya cannot deal…the end! Lol!

  2. And despite this coming out, her die hard stans swear she’s married and she is just trying to keep her persona life private when her job is doing a reality show. I really don’t understand them.

  3. Don’t tell me y’all are this bitter that you refuse to accept the fact that Kenya is married. *giggles*

  4. Where the f-ck is the marriage license? I ain’t believing sh-t until I see some damn proof. Kenya’s a-s is a known liar.

  5. If this is true she needs to be fired. How are you on a reality show called housewives and you refuse to show your marriage? She needs to walk away from the show if she’s not willing to share.

  6. If she’s lying about this, this is really going to blow up in her face. The backlash will be something fierce.

  7. If you have to keep your marriage away from the show, then perhaps it’s time to walk away from the show.
