LHHATL Producers Clap Back at Joseline Hernandez

Plenty of drama is surrounding the filming of LHHATL’s reunion for season six. According to numerous sources and accounts, things got pretty contentious between LHHATL star Joseline Hernandez and show creator Mona Scott Young. Things seemed to get really hectic because shortly after filming finished, and Joseline threatened to expose Mona on social media.

Joseline beat that drum so loudly in fact, Mona herself posted a cryptic response.

It looks as if the producers aren’t done responding to Joseline’s rants.

In fact, sources tell blogger The Jasmine Brand that Joseline’s tirade during reunion filming and her Instagram posts were due to the reality star’s anger behind a cancelled appearance on “The Wendy Williams Show,” which her team arranged. Apparently, Stevie J, who was supposedly assaulted by Joseline in an Atlanta restaurant recently, didn’t want to do the show with Joseline and backed out, causing the cancellation.

Joseline wanted the LHHATL producers to force Stevie to do the appearance but they decided to stay out of the drama.

According to those sources, Joseline appeared at the reunion still livid from this cancellation, which led to the quitting.

The Jasmine Brand Writes:

Sources also state that Joseline quitting had NOTHING to do with what she was being paid.

“Joseline is paid VERY well. She’s said it herself multiple times, ‘I secure the bag.’ One minute she’s bragging about how much she makes and the next she’s acting as if she’s not being paid enough.”

We hear that Joseline’s implying that she quit over a paycheck because she wants to get fans to sympathize with her, coercing them into believing that the cast isn’t compensated well. The source continues,

“Dont’ get me wrong, Joseline brings a lot to the show, but she didn’t make the show and there are WAY more people that want an opportunity without tormenting production in the process. She’ll find that out.”

To date, VH1, production or the show’s executive producer, Mona Scott-Young have yet to speak out. We’ve reached out to Scott-Young, who declined to comment. Our guess is, we’ll all have to tune into the reunion to watch this whole situation play out.

  1. Whatever. If Joseline is gone they need to spend less time shading her and more time revamping the show because it’s horrible now.

  2. They can throw all the little shade they want but the facts are Joseline is not the first person to call them out. Even Cardi isn’t coming back. That lets me know all I need to know about Mona and the rest of the producers.

  3. I see Joseline hurt some feelings. If she’s so replaceable, just replace her and be done with it.

  4. I think the show can survive without Joseline but they would have to keep Tommie. She’s the closet thing left to Joseline. Anyway why is Mimi still on the show? She’s so bitter and boring.

  5. I think everyone is starting to do too much. Is Joseline even serious about quitting? I’m still not so sure she is.

  6. The whole Atlanta cast can go. It’s fresher and better talent to make Love and Hip Hop. They’re main focus is probably going to be Miami because at least the people there are self sufficient. No one in the Atlanta cast even had sh!t
