Brandy Norwood is no stranger to controversy.
In fact, the R&B singer has taken to social media multiple times to shade her peers and even call out her critics.
She even went back and forth with a former close friend recently on Instagram.
Brandy has made it clear that she’s not on good terms with fellow R&B singer Monica, and that probably won’t be changing anytime soon.
Now folks suspect she may have thrown some shade at Monica with her birthday post in Whitney Houston’s honor.

I think her caption was really rude. To even say she loves Whitney more than anyone else on this earth like Cissy ain’t still mourning her daughter and granddaughter is disgusting.

She was on @jasminebrand being messy af, calling Monica “ol girl” and saying how she Brandy was closer to Whitney. Man, they jumped in her a-s in the comment section with both feet. She thought she had time today but she really didn’t.

Brandy suffers from narcissism. And when a narcissist is no longer on top, they can’t handle it. That’s why she makes everything about her, even Whitney’s death. She even goes out her way to find video clips of people praising her because she’s that ridiculous. I had to unfollow her.
Brandy really has issues. There’s no way she loves Whitney more than her own mother Cissy does. Cissy loved Whitney for Whitney. Not because she was a singer she idolized. That’s not real love.
