Things have really taken off for Cardi B ever since she decided to walk away from “Love and Hip Hop New York.”
She has inked a record deal with Atlantic Records.
Her single “Bodak Yellow” became a huge hit on multiple charts.
And her fan base is rapidly growing.
However, some feel like Cardi really isn’t winning.

This was so random. Why does Sommore have a problem with Cardi?
The thing is a lot of people don’t feel like Cardi should have all this success. I’ve read she doesn’t rap good enough, she’s a former stripper, etc. and it’s like, if she put in the work, what’s the problem? Anyone who is willing to walk away from Mona and get a real career gets respect from me because most don’t want to put in that kind of work. It’s easier to just stay on the show and fight for a check than start a successful music career.
I think Sommore was trying to say Cardi needs to pay attention to her contract because a lot of artists end up broke because they didn’t read the deal before they signed. But it’s messy for her to say that on social media. If she was really concerned, why not hit Cardi up in private and tell her that because this right here was messy.
I agree. It’s good advice she gave Cardi but it could’ve been done in private so I can only assume she was being shady.
Sommore needs to worry about her own career. Cause it looks like Cardi is doing much better than her.
