In a recent interview with the Breakfast Club, Tamar opened up about her fallout with Toya Wright and reconciling her friendship with Tiny Harris.
She also threw a little shade at actress and rapper Lil Mama when she set the record straight on reports of her clashing with comedian DeRay weeks ago.
Here are the highlights of the interview.
When Charlamagne asked Tamar when she will reconcile with Toya Wright, Tamar said:
“I feel like that’s a different conversation because on this show, this very show, I was watching like everyone else and I was devastated. I was hurt. I had no idea that wasn’t my friend. I had no idea the things that were coming out of her mouth…that she really felt that way. And so on top of everything that’s really negative that happened last year, I think that..I’m not gon cry…I think that’s one of the things that hurt me the most because when her brothers died, it really affected me.
“Me and Tiny were together. We were in the studio with Tricky. We both called her. I just found it really hard to hear her say that was a nice gesture. You know? I’m not that girl.”
To refresh your memory, Toya told the Breakfast Club crew last year that she believes Tamar blocked her from getting booked on The Real and they were clearly never real friends if Tamar would do her that way. She also claimed that she and Tamar don’t talk much and she was surprised she showed up to her brothers’ funeral. She labeled Tamar doing so as a “nice gesture.”

Tamar also responded to reports of her clashing something serious with comedian DeRay during filming for “Hip Hop Squares.” She shaded Lil Mama in the process too:
“DeRay and I have been knowing each other for years. First of all, I’ve been in this industry for forever, you know what I mean? So that was not my first time meeting him. Now we’ve been joking around with each other for years. He said something, and Lil Mama, bless her heart, we gon put her in her place one day. She gon know her place one day. Stop talking…and egging things on but it wasn’t what people said that it was.”

And she confirmed that she and Tiny are back in a good place:
“Me and Tiny are stronger than ever. We have definitely reunited. Especially as far as the kids are concerned.”

I think Tamar and Toya will probably make up at some point.
I hope she doesn’t end up regretting making this her last album.
I saw her on Wendy Williams show, she seems nice, just needs to work on herself, (as we all do). I don’t think she does well as a celebrity, you have to have thick skin, and she takes everything so personal. On another note, she sure can sing! Very talented.
Tamar is too petty and too sensitive.
Tamar is like K Michelle in my opinion. Always in her feelings about something and on social media talking too much. Smh ??♀️
I could be completely wrong, but it seems like Tiny is a low key sh-t starter. I wouldn’t be surprised if she go back and forth to Tamar & Toya repeating what the other said. I also wouldn’t be surprised if she did the same sh-t in Xscape, going back and forth between Kandi & the sisters repeating what they said as well.
