Jennifer Hudson has always defended her relationship with David Otunga in the media.
Critics of the romance constantly questioned why they have been engaged for nine years, but J-Hud claimed they didn’t need to be married to be happy.

This is why I side eye long engagements. Usually when people are engaged for damn near ten years, it’s because someone or both people have reservations about marrying their s/o. But they are too comfortable to end the relationship and stop wasting each other’s time.
