‘Black Ink Crew’ Recap: Cease Has Legal Problems in Atlanta + Donna Gets Even with Roommate

The gang discusses Donna’s confrontation with her roommate and her roommate’s daughter.

Teddy jokingly suspects that Donna has fooled around with her roommate and that’s what caused the tension.
Donna walks in and denies this.

“I’m mad as f*ck at this old a*s b*tch.” – Donna

Kitty impersonates Sky and questions why she isn’t there managing the shop anymore. It appears Sky has abandoned her post at the 113th shop for good.

Alex’s baby mama brings by his son Cameron.

He says in a green screen interview that he and his baby mama got together freshman year of college and she got pregnant.

They are no longer together and she now lives two hours away in Albany.

This is hard for Alex and he wants to be able to see his son more.

He reveals that he used to get into a lot of trouble before his son, including gang life.

“He was my reason to leave the street life.” – Alex

Back in Atlanta, Ceaser is enjoying life and partying at the Atlanta shop.

Persuasion walks up on him while he’s talking to others and kisses him on the mouth. He’s annoyed by this and says he’s tried to tell her he doesn’t want to deal with her anymore.

He walks away from her and continues mingling.

Sky strolls up in the party and Cease is heated that she’s there because she supposed to be in New York managing the 113th shop.

“What are you dong here?” – Cease

Sky tells him that she missed Atlanta and the it’s fun and the weather is better.

Sky later bumps into Persuasion and Persuasion tells her that she’s dating Ceaser. In a green screen interview, Sky teases that Cease can’t even break up with women on his own.

So Sky tells Persuasion that Cease has a s*xually transmitted disease and she needs to get checked out.

Police show up to the party and claim they are disturbing the peace and they are shutting down the shop.

Everyone is forced to leave and the police say Cease can fight for the shop to be opened back up by attending the upcoming city hall meeting.

Donna is looking for a new place.

She meets with a real estate agent to see some prospective units.

Donna falls in love with the first place she sees because it’s nice and spacious. It has three bedrooms and it costs $4000 a month, so she decides to keep looking.

The next place is $2000 in Harlem.

The owner of the unit tells her he recognizes her from “Help Me Howard” and he won’t be able to rent to her. Donna gets upset and says she will be in touch wth her lawyer.

She leaves upset.

Alex tells the group that he’s going through some things.

He says he’s on probation for aggravated assault on a police officer and he violated probation by not submitting one of his payments on time.

He has a court case coming up and he says it’s not his first one.

He says he’s been locked up eight times and it’s because he’s targeted because of who his dad is. His dad was a well known criminal.

The cops would harass him all the time growing up.

Teddy says he relates, and jail time runs in his family for the male family members, including his father, himself and brothers.

Teddy says he will attend the court date out of support.

Sky and Cease attend the City Hall meeting.

One of the residents walks up to the mic and says Black Ink has received numerous complaints.

Sky walks up to the podium to respond.

She asks them what’s the issue and they residents say they are too loud and disrespectful at the shop.

After the residents aren’t receptive to Sky, Cease walks up to the podium to speak.

Cease says he wants to fix things and help out the community. He’s open to suggestions to make things better, and says they are free to walk over and ask them to quiet down and they will.

The residents clap.

Donna gets even.

Donna tells the gang to dress up in all black. They aren’t sure what they are supposed to be doing.

She walks in the shop with a garbage bag. She pulls out bathroom tissue rolls/eggs and tells them that she’s going to even with her roommate by tagging her house.

“This is the best revenge plan.” – Donna

Donna is also going to tape a poster of her roommate in a “seductive” photo with her phone number attached.

When they get to the place, they start throwing eggs at her roommates’s windows.

They all run away and hop in the car after they hear a nearby police siren.

Young Bae gets a phone call from her mother.

Her mother says that Bae’s father has been threatening her life and Bae tells her she can come live with her.

She starts crying.

Bae’s boo Rob asks her what’s going on and she explains the situation.

Apparently Bae’s father located her mother through Facebook and sent her some threatening messages.

Bae recounts growing up with an abusive father.

Cease and Sky do some volunteer work in the community.

They keep their word to the city residents and volunteer some time at an elderly center.

Sky leads the elders wth some exercise routines.

Cease then takes over when he feels like Sky is doing way too much.

They then start up a game of Bingo.

Alex has his court date and gets some bad news.

He says he’s in trouble because he’s behind in some administrative fees.

The judge says he missed a previous hearing and Alex said he had no idea he had one.

He will have to pay $45 a month and he agrees to pay off the unpaid balance.

The judge says Alex needs to speak to the Sheriff for some unfinished business.

They then cuff him and start walking him out of the courtroom.

“Are you serious?” – Alex

Teddy is also confused by this and tries to understand what is happening.

Alex is told there are two warrants out on him.
