On last night’s episode of “Grown-ish,” the group has a lot of discussion about interracial relationships.

In particular, Sky and Jazz get frustrated when they notice that a lot of the black guys on campus aren’t interested in black women.

Throughout the episode, they discuss the obstacles black women face while looking for love, and point out how blackness is only acceptable for non-black women.

This leads to Sky confronting another student, and even clashing with Jazz.

Aaron also comes face to face with his own dating habits.

Meanwhile, Zoey and Luca figure out that they really do work well together.

Here’s a recap of “It’s Hard out Here for a Pimp.”

  1. Now they didn’t expect dating to be the same at a PWI did they? Anyway, I want Luca and Zoey to be together. I won’t accept anything less.

  2. I’m glad they discussed colorism as well. I’m sure a lot of black men were salty last night but facts are facts.

  3. Just another reason why I’m glad I went to a HBCU. No school is perfect, but being able to be around your own 24/7 was a wonderful experience. But they got it right at the end. At a PWI, you have to be very open minded. They have to do like Diggy’s character, and be open to meeting/spending time with all kinds of people.

  4. This was such a good episode they told nothing but the truth welcome to the reality for black women.
