Tennis star Serena Williams is happy to be a mom but the journey came with a scare.
In fact, she recently confirmed that she almost died from childbirth.
Now that she’s experienced the scary situation, she now understands why black women struggle to find good medical care.
And she feels it’s because so many medical professionals don’t listen to us.

So damn true. Systematic racism is a problem is so many different industries.
