Usher and Grace Split

It looks like R&B singer Usher may be ending his second marriage to Grace Miguel.

This comes after Usher has been dealing with multiple lawsuits from people who claim the singer gave them “The Gift That Keeps on Giving.”

US Weekly broke the story.

The publication writes:

Usher Raymond and his wife, Grace Miguel, have called it quits after two years of marriage and nearly 10 years together, Us Weekly can exclusively reveal.

“After much thought and consideration we have mutually decided to separate as a couple,” Usher, 36, and Miguel, 48, said in a joint statement to Us on Tuesday, March 6. “We remain deeply connected, loving friends who will continue supporting each other through the next phases of our lives. The enormous amount of love and respect that we have for each other will only increase as we move forward.”

A source tells Us that the pair, who quietly wed in September 2015, have been separated for a couple of months.

As for Usher, the singer has been denying that he gave anyone the disease.

And many black celebrities have shown support to him on social media, amid the allegations.

Interestingly enough, neither Grace nor Usher has confirmed that a divorce is in progress. However, many are suspecting that it’s in the cards thanks to stress from the multiple allegations.

Especially since some of the dates found in the lawsuit filings happen to have occurred while Usher was with Grace.

Regardless, the couple seemed to be a united front when they were last spotted together in public in December.

Story developing.

  1. Some people just ain’t built for relationships and damn sure not marriage. Usher needs to stay single so he can sleep around as he wishes.

  2. Karma? Didn’t Usher cheat on Tameka with Grace and Tameka had to get in that a-s one day? Spat on her and everything!

  3. Remember when they said Tameka was the problem? That she was the one who ruined his life, career, etc? Nope. Usher has always been his own problem. He’s on failed marriage number two and his career has been in shambles for years because he hasn’t been motivated to make decent music like he used to. Hopefully this will be a wake up call and get him back in the studio to make a good album again. But I won’t hold my breath.
