Gabrielle Union Shades Dwyane Wade’s Ex Wife on Instagram

The Gabrielle Union and Dwyane Wade ex wife beef continues? It is no secret that NBA star Dwyane Wade and his ex-wife Siohvaughn Funches-Wade’s marriage ended in a very ugly way as Siohvaughn has continued to make her voice heard to the media as she has called D-Wade out on a number of occasions in the interviews that she has done, claiming that Dwyane is doing everything in his power to keep her away from their two sons. While Siohvaughn doesn’t seem to turn away from the chance to blast her ex-husband, the two looked to have called a truce for Mother’s Day as Siohvaughn got to spend the holiday with the boys.

And as things may be on the verge of getting better between D-Wade and his ex-wife, fingers still point towards his current girlfriend Gabrielle Union as the person responsible for wrecking their marriage, though Gabrielle has tried her hardest to rid herself of the “home wrecker” label that keeps following her around as she claims she did not break up Dwyane and Siohvaughn’s marriage. Covering Jet Magazine, Dwyane Wade spoke in his interview with the publication about his past marriage to Siohvaughn and openly admitted that he was probably not the best husband to her while they were together.

To show her man love and throw his ex-wife shade all in one swoop, Gabrielle Union took to her Instagram account and posted an altered photo of D-Wade’s Jet cover, making her own changes to it by crossing out “The Ex-Wife” and replacing it with “Happy,” sending Siohvaughn a clear message about how happy D-Wade was with her and adding a caption to go along with the picture:

“I like this dude… My lil #JetBeautyOfTheWeek #proud”

NBA Star Kevin Durant Donates $1 Million to Oklahoma Tornado Disaster Relief Fund

The recent tragedy in Oklahoma City has caused many to reflect on their lives and just reinforces why it’s so important for everyone to always be thankful for their lives, regardless of their current circumstances. As many watch on as people endure losing their homes, loved ones, and the lives they once knew before the life changing tornado hit the area; many of us are wanting to help and provide relief to those affected. NBA star Kevin Durant of the Oklahoma City Thunder has decided to help the best way he knows possible and that is to donate $1 million to the Oklahoma Disaster Relief Fund which is being managed by The Red Cross. CBS Sports reports:

In a big time of need, Kevin Durant is once again coming through in the clutch for Oklahoma City.

Per the Red Cross, Durant has given a $1 million donation to the Oklahoma tornado disaster relief fund.

The total number of dead is not yet certain, but according to CBSNews.com, 24 people, including many children, lost their lives in the tornado that ravaged Moore, Okla. An estimated 300 homes have been destroyed and early valuations have the damage totaling well into the billions of dollars.

On Monday, Durant tweeted, “Praying for the victims of the Tornadoes in OKC these last few days..Everybody stay safe!”

The NBA and the players’ union also are coming together to add another $1 million donation for relief efforts in the Oklahoma City area. The joint pledge was announced Tuesday. The money will be going to the American Red Cross, Salvation Army and other disaster relief efforts, according to a report from the Associated Press.

Chad Johnson’s marriage to “Basketball Wives” star Evelyn Lozada may be over, but the former NFL star’s legal woes don’t appear to be ending anytime soon. As we recently reported, a warrant for Chad Johnson’s arrest was issued last week due to a probation violation. According to reports, Chad missed two meetings with his probation officer and failed to register for domestic violence counseling, and it’s still not clear why he missed the scheduled meetings. Chad’s been pretty quiet on the situation, but it appears he was arrested this morning in Fort Lauderdale. Gossip Extra reports:

Former Miami Dolphins receiver Chad Johnson was arrested about 10:30 a.m. today in Fort Lauderdale when a court hearing at the Broward County courthouse didn’t turn out well for the out-of-work NFLer.

Johnson, 35, appeared before a judge with Adam Swickle, his attorney, this morning after an arrest warrant was issued earlier this month.

The baller is accused of violating the conditions of his one-year probation for allegedly roughing his ex-wife, reality TV star Evelyn Lozada, in 2012.

The judge just decided Johnson did wrong by not showing up for two visits with his probation officer and not registering for domestic violence counseling — and had him arrested by deputies on-the-spot.

The website also goes on to report that Chad is currently being held in Broward County lockup on no bail.

In related news, Chad also seems to be having some money issues as he recently requested for his child support payments to be drastically reduced due to “unemployment” reports TMZ.

Kobe Bryant is Tired of Being Compared to Michael Jordan

The Kobe Bryant Michael Jordan comparison has been going on for years now as sports fans, analysts and athletes alike can’t keep themselves from dissecting the careers and skills of both players. And as commentators, fans and other basketball greats have shared their thoughts when it comes to the Kobe Bryant Michael Jordan comparison, Legendary coach Phil Jackson, who is arguably one of the best, if not the best, professional basketball coach of all time, offered an interesting perspective on Kobe and Michael in his new memoir ‘Eleven Rings: The Soul of Success’. And while Phil Jackson has remained tight-lipped when it comes to voicing his opinion on which one is the better player between Kobe and MJ, he has officially broken his silence on the topic and had a few things to say about the Black Mamba’s leadership skills in comparison to Air Jordan’s.

Phil Jackson writes:

“One of the biggest differences between the two stars from my perspective was Michael’s superior skills as a leader. Though at times he could be hard on his teammates, Michael was masterful at controlling the emotional climate of the team with the power of his presence. Kobe had a long way to go before he could make that claim. He talked a good game, but he’d yet to experience the cold truth of leadership in his bones, as Michael had.

“If Bryant talked to teammates in his earlier Lakers years, it was usually, “Give me the d*mn ball.” But then Kobe started to shift. He embraced the team and his teammates, calling them up when we were on the road and inviting them out to dinner. It was as if the other players were now his partners, not his personal spear-carriers.”

Kobe Bryant however feels that comparing him to Michael Jordan period is like comparing apples to oranges because they were just that different from each other in terms of career paths and the teammates that they played with:

Now, I usually don’t serve up my opinion on things but I will say that I feel that it’s natural to compare Kobe Bryant to Michael Jordan, or LeBron James to Kobe Bryant, because of the incredible amount of talent that they all bring/brought to the game of basketball. But when it all comes down to it, I think Kobe, LeBron and Michael are all stars in their own right and are (or will become) legendary.

Dwyane Wade Admits He Was Probably a ‘Terrible Husband’

Dwyane Wade and ex-wife Siohvaughn Funches-Wade ended on a rather sour note. NBA star Dwyane Wade may be a success on the basketball court, but unfortunately when it comes to his personal life, he’s still dealing with lots of issues pertaining to his former marriage. Wade’s ex-wife Siovaughn Funches-Wade has been giving a series of interviews to the media and accusing the Miami Heat star of doing everything in his power to keep their sons away from her. And although she is still permitted time to spend with the boys through the court, she claims in a recent interview that he doesn’t honor the court appointed time and she even feels he’s brainwashing their kids into not wanting to see her. As nasty as things have been between them since their split, it did appear things could be looking up, especially since she did get to spend time with their boys on Mother’s Day. However, in a recent interview with JET Magazine, D Wade still admits he was most likely a “terrible husband” and hopes things can eventually become peaceful between them. He covers the June issue and here are the highlights of the interview.

On what kind of father he considers himself to be:

“I’m the kind of parent who asks my kids questions like what would be your ideal thing to do in the summer? This year it’s Disney World. Even though I make the final decision, I want them to feel involved. Not only in vacations but other things as well.”

He also explains why he decided to pursue full custody in his nasty custody battle with his former wife Siohvaughn Funches-Wade:

“I didn’t set out to get full custody but I wasn’t able to see my kids the way I wanted and I’m not a parent who’s going to run away from his responsibilities. I was probably a terrible husband, but I pride myself on being a good dad.”

D Wade may not be on the best terms with his ex-wife but he says he does hope things will be different in the near future for the sake of the kids:

“It’s been six years and hopefully one day she and I can get to the point where it’s a lot easier than it is now to co-parent.”

Reggie Bush Talks Fatherhood & Says He Isn’t Worried About Kim Kardashian

Reggie Bush’s baby’s name was something that his fans wanted to know after it was announced that the NFL star and his fiancee welcomed a baby girl into the world a little over a week ago. The soon-to-be married Reggie was very pumped about becoming a father for the first time and now he has officially entered fatherhood, the thought of him having a child now still being a surreal one to him. Talking with Life & Style, Reggie Bush revealed that the baby’s name is Briseis and explained how he and his fiancee Lilit came up with the name:

“It’s Greek. We were watching the movie Troy and my fiancée, who was my girlfriend at the time, said, ‘If we ever have a daughter, can we name her that?’ And a couple of months later, wouldn’t you know! The name was picked out months before she was even thought about. It’s crazy.”

Reggie also talked about the emotions that were running through him when he first laid eyes on his daughter:

“I was nervous, I was excited, I was scared, I was happy. Every emotion possible was running through me. And then you’re like, ‘I can’t believe this is my baby.’ It was really emotional when I was first holding her.”

Though Reggie has a very hectic schedule as a professional athlete, he says that he has come up with a number of different ways to check in on his fiancee and their daughter Briseis:

“Skyping constantly, putting her on the phone. Every time I hear her cry in the background, it breaks my heart. She’s beautiful.”

And becoming a father is something that Reggie says has forever changed him:

“It has grounded me more. When you have a child, everything you do is about them. You’re thinking about your child first. Everything. It’s grounded me a lot more.”

Reggie says that it helps to have an amazing woman like Lilit to raise his daughter with:

“Lilit’s really amazing. I’m very lucky. She has a great personality and such a calming spirit. She’s there every step of the way and with the baby all day. She’s just a great mom.”

Reggie and Lilit are very much enjoying being new parents and are looking forward to getting married. But Reggie says that they are not in a rush to tie the knot:

“We’re just enjoying this moment — one thing at time. The baby is enough. We’re totally focusing on that, but we will get around to it.”

When asked if he plans to reach out to his ex Kim Kardashian when her baby is born, Reggie said “no” and that he isn’t worried about the past, only the present:

“We’ve been focused on the future. I haven’t been worried about anything else or on anything in the past. Just the present and the future.”

And he says that none of the Kardashians congratulated him on becoming a father:

“I haven’t spoken to them. I’ve just been focusing on my little girl and my family. That’s it really. I’ve been enjoying my life and this opportunity. All my focus has been on that.”

Dwyane Wade might be a superstar on the NBA’s top team the Miami Heat, but when he’s not getting lots of good press thanks to his strong performance on the basketball court, he’s getting plenty of bad press thanks to his soured relationship with his ex-wife Siohvaughn Funches-Wade. Regardless, D Wade is still out here doing some good for people who consider themselves to be huge fans of the NBA star and the other day, he did something incredibly kind of for one of his biggest fans. According to multiple reports, he decided to surprise the teen fan at her prom. WSNV-TV reports:

The South Florida teen who created a YouTube video asking Dwyane Wade to her high school prom, had her wish come true.

Last month, Archbishop Coleman Carroll High School senior Nicole Muxo created a YouTube prom proposal video asking her favorite basketball player, Miami Heat champion Dwyane Wade to prom.

Wade accepted Muxo’s proposal and surprised the teen and her classmates Friday night at her prom at La Jolla Ballroom in Coral Gables. “She actually DM’d me on Twitter and said, ‘This is the address, this is where I’m gonna be just in case,’ and when I got that I said I won’t be doing nothing tomorrow night and I can go and make this a memorable moment for her,” said Wade.

“I’m gonna remember it forever. This was my highlight of my senior year,” said Muxo.

The Miami Heat star posted a few pictures of the night to his Instagram account:

Boss: Jay-Z is Just Weeks Away from Becoming Certified Agent

Jay-Z has managed to make the most out of his rapping career, and his resume now reads like a true business man. With Roc Nation doing well considering that the company manages one of today’s biggest stars in music (Rihanna), it was a pretty smart move for Jigga to set his sights on another objective. So he decided to drop his ownership in the Brooklyn Nets and launched Roc Nation Sports, a management company that focuses on managing the top names in sports. And he’s done well so far considering he just signed superstar New York Giants wide receiver Victor Cruz and he even signed Skylar Diggins, the young woman posed to become one of the biggest stars the WNBA has ever seen. However, there were some whispers suggesting Jay-Z’s ambitions to become a certified agent would be short-lived, especially since he doesn’t have a college degree. But according to the New York Post, those reports are inaccurate and Beyonce’s husband is just weeks away from certification. The publication reports:

Music mogul Jay-Z is closing in on being a certified agent by the players association, according to a person with knowledge of the situation.

Jay-Z, who formed Roc Nation Sports and lured Robinson Cano away from Scott Boras early last month, is expected to be certified by the union within weeks.

In the meantime, Jay-Z is moving quickly to diversify his roster of athletes, as he is in talks to sign a Hockey player and has already landed his first baseball star weeks ago.

JR Smith Responds to Rihanna’s Instagram Diss

JR Smith isn’t having the best luck these days. In fact, he went from looking amazing on the basketball court to letting his team, the New York Knicks, down pretty terribly during the majority of the playoffs. Smith’s disappointing performance is being blamed on his many nights of late night partying, however, some fans of the basketball team were hoping they could place some of the blame on Rihanna. The singer was spotted on a few occasions in the same clubs as JR, causing many to speculate that they were rekindling their former romance. So when one of the Knicks biggest fans accused her of “distracting” the basketball player during the playoffs, Rihanna went off and had a few words for the fan and JR Smith too. She wrote:

f*ck you and your wack a*s team!! Nobody dont want that desert thirsty n*gga!! He f*ckin up cus (sic) his a*s be hungover from clubbing every night during playoffs!! So your issue ain’t with rasshole me

JR Smith has cut out a lot of his social media activity down these days but he did respond to Rihanna’s digs when asked by reporters how he feels about her rant. Zags Blog reports:

Rihanna might be coming after J.R. Smith on Instagram, but he’s not taking the bait.

“I’m not worried about Instagram, I’m worried about the playoffs,” Smith said after going 4-for-11 for 13 points in the Knicks’ 85-75 win in Game 5 that kept their season alive for at least one more game.

Perhaps that’s the best response to prevent a Twitter/Instagram war with Rihanna.

Is Floyd Mayweather’s fiance cheating? It’s pretty clear boxer Floyd Mayweather and his fiancée Shantel Jackson don’t have the traditional relationship which stands on the foundation of monogamy. Instead, the boxer has made it pretty clear that he feels like he should be able to be with as many women as he wants at one time and the reason he feels he should be able to is solely because he says he can afford to have multiple women. Interestingly enough, his fiancee Shantel Jackson doesn’t have a problem with Floyd sleeping with and entertaining other women, and she believes by allowing Floyd to do so, it pretty much means he she’s confident in the relationship that they have.

The other day was proof that just because these two have an understanding, it doesn’t mean things don’t get messy from time to time. Recently, Floyd’s baby momma Josie Harris decided to snap a picture of Floyd lying in her bed beside her sleeping, and caused a scandal as it pretty much made all of the blogs. Floyd’s fiancée Shantel clapped back in a subtle way and posted photos of the lavish walk in closet Floyd reportedly paid for. Josie eventually took the photo down, but it appears the drama for Floyd and Shantel is far from over.

Earlier today, reports suggested Shantel might have a side piece of her own in actress Vivica Fox’s former fiancé. Mommy’s Dirty Little Secret writes:

Floyd Mayweather’s fiance Shantel Jackson is not only nasty…she’s also cheating! A reliable source shared a dirty little secret with MDLS, and even we were a bit shocked.

…Looks like Floyd Mayweather has gotten a taste of his own medicine because he allegedly caught his fiance Shantel Jackson cheating with Vivica Fox’s former fiancé, Omar Slim. At first, cheating rumors were going around between Shantel and 50 Cent, but now it is someone else…

Our source tells us that Mayweather found out that Shantel had a cell phone, just to call Omar, and that the two were exchanging crotch/v*gina photos. Something we already know Miss Jackson is good at…

Shantel hasn’t said anything about the rumor, instead she’s resorted to bragging again on her Instagram account and posted a photo of her arriving to the Grand Canyon and coming off of a helicopter with Floyd Mayweather:

Chad Johnson may have demonstrated recently that he still has a big heart thanks to the recent good deed he did for a homeless man, but besides beefing with ex-wife Evelyn Lozada via his Twitter account, there’s still one more reminder of the violent end of their short-lived marriage, and that would be his probation. Of course Chad isn’t mum on the fact that he regrets the marriage and doesn’t really consider it a real marriage since it ended the way it did, but he is still on probation for assaulting the “Basketball Wives” star, and is reportedly bringing more legal issues on himself because he’s not following the guidelines set by his probation officer. Although Chad was able to escape serving any jail time for his assault on Evelyn, he’s not totally in the clear yet. TMZ is reporting that a warrant was issued for the arrest of the former NFL player because he failed to report to his probation officer:

TMZ has learned … a warrant has been issued for Johnson’s arrest in Broward County, Florida — stemming from his domestic violence conviction involving ex-wife Evelyn Lozada last year.

The Broward County District Attorney’s Office tells us … Johnson has failed to report to his probation officer — a violation of the terms of his probation — and on May 7, a judge issued the warrant.

Once Johnson is taken into custody — a hearing will be set to determine whether Johnson did in fact violate his probation. If he did, it could mean jail time.

Rihanna and JR Smith dating? Chris Brown and Rihanna haven’t even been over for a full month yet, and both have already been romantically linked to their former flames. Chris has been spending lots of time with Karrueche Tran and therefore sparking rumors suggesting they are back on, meanwhile, Rihanna has been spotted partying in the same clubs as her former flame NBA player JR Smith. Smith was starting to definitely prove his worth on the basketball court, but it didn’t take long for his reign to go cold. And to most of his critics, the reason he’s not delivering on the basketball court and coming through for the Knicks is because he’s been spending way too much time partying. And since Rihanna was in attendance for some of Smith’s late nights, many are attempting to place the blame on the Diamonds singer when it comes to why JR Smith’s productivity has diminished so quickly.

Rihanna is known for being very vocal and raw on her Twitter and Instagram accounts, so it should come as no surprise that she went completely off on a follower when they accused her of ruining JR Smith’s hot streak on the basketball court.

Not only did Rihanna slam the follower for blaming her for Smith’s lackluster playoff performance, but she also made it clear that she’s not interested in him and he’s actually the one pursuing her. Rihanna writes:

Meanwhile, JR Smith is not blaming Rihanna for his performance as of late, and says he’s solely responsible for not holding it down for his team.

Looks like yet another rumor about who Rihanna is smashing/dating has been debunked by Rihanna herself.
