Future Speaks on Ciara & Rihanna Beef, Says It Probably Cost Him a Music Video

Is there a Future and Rihanna beef? The Ciara and Rihanna beef is one that still can’t really be explained considering the cause of it still being debated amongst fans of both singers. However, that hasn’t stopped Rihanna from still taking occasional shots at Ciara on her Instagram account, although Ciara has since decided to refuse talking about the feud anymore in her interviews. Now that the shading seems to be over, it now appears Ciara’s boyfriend, rapper Future, is now talking a little about the drama that went down between Ciara and Rihanna. And let Future tell it, it may have cost him a music video with Rihanna. Future and Rihanna colloborated for the rapper’s song “Loveeeeeee Song,” but a video was never shot for the single although it did end up becoming a radio hit. Future says in the upcoming issue of Source Magazine:

“We never shot a video, we never performed it. I don’t know whether it was because of that situation or if just the time hasn’t come up.”

Ciara is usually a very private person, but she seems to be a lot more open these days about her love life. While she cites Future for helping her step outside the box musically and even share more of herself with the public, Future recently told MTV News he feels it’s hard to open up about one’s personal life and have the music still be the public’s main focus:

“Sometimes it’s hard to open up about your personal life, your relationship because you always want the music to be in the forefront. You want the music to be the biggest carrier of everything that you represent.”

Future no show at club in Vegas over Ciara? Future and Ciara, aside from her beef with Rihanna, has created a lot of buzz around Ciara as the release date for the singer’s self-titled album draws closer. And though things look to be going great between Ciara and her rapper beau despite his baby mama drama. But Ciara and Future aren’t much different than most celebrity couples as their name has made its way into the rumor mill, Ciara having to shut down one about her sharing her man with an “adult” dancer not to too long ago. And as the couple is obviously very supportive of each other’s careers, that was all questioned after Future got sued by a concert promoter for being a no show at a nightclub that he was scheduled to perform at in Vegas. And Ci Ci was the one who people were blaming for Future not performing as it was rumored that the two ended up skipping out on the event to grab a bite to eat after having a dispute over how they were getting to the event. Ciara stopped by Streetz 94.5 Morning Grind and was asked about the talk about her boyfriend not showing up at the club in Vegas over her. And Ciara set the record straight about how things happened and says she played no part in Future not showing up to the event:

“Oh my gosh, that wasn’t true at all…You know, it’s so funny, I don’t know how to say it in short because it was the funniest story because it was so far from what it was. And I, literally, I didn’t even fly in with him. Like, I came from New York, I think it was. He was coming from somewhere else. So that can just tell you how far off the story is. But we didn’t meet at an airport or anything. Like, we had a whole long day of promo, so that part just alone was so left…I don’t even know how somebody could make up a story like that, even if the two people weren’t together. Like, we didn’t ride in the car together, meet at the airport, we didn’t fly to the airport together…So that’s just starting right there. I put this on everything, like, I put my hand on the Bible, the story when I saw it, I was like ‘Yo, that’s why you can’t pay attention to stuff that people say because when it’s so far off, it’s like, that’s not even cool actually. That’s like disrespectful for people to make something up…And also at the end of the day, you have to be confident within yourself and know what your truth is…People just really go so far nowadays, with social media. The person has the power to make something a certain way from a keyboard. Like, that’s wack. Yeah, that wasn’t true.”

Lil’ Wayne got dumped by Mountain Dew, shortly after Rapper Rick Ross lost his endorsement deal with Reebok over the lyric that he rapped referencing the brutal beating of Emmett Till. And it caused much outrage to surface within the Black community as many felt that Wayne’s lyric was beyond disrespectful towards our history and the family of the late Emmett Till. After hearing Lil’ Wayne’s lyric about their deceased relative, the Till Family could not keep quiet as they penned a letter addressing Wayne, letting him know how they felt about the words he rapped. Wayne remained silent after the letter and as a result, the Till Family went straight after his pockets. And the message they sent out was heard loud and clear by Mountain Dew as the company cut ties with Wayne after he finally issued a statement for the lyric. Other rappers have weighed in on Wayne getting dropped by Mountain Dew and now Future, the rapper Lil’ Wayne collaborated with for the song, is now speaking out on the scandal.

“Karate Chop (Remix)” is Future’s song and in an interview that he did with Power 106, Future reveals his feelings about Wayne’s verse and he has a rather different view than most as the rapper says that he feels Wayne raised awareness with the Emmett Till lyric. He also claims people who didn’t know who Emmett Till was before now know who he is because of Lil’ Wayne:

“We did the song with great intentions. I know he did the verse for the art. But speaking on the situation, I can’t speak on it…I never thought it was going to get so much attention, you know what I mean? But I think overall, the whole situation, he did bring light in a positive way to what happened. Even though [Emmett Till's family] might’ve thought it was negative, he brought positive energy to the situation because a lot of people don’t even know [who Emmett Till was]. My dad didn’t even know who Emmett was, he’s thinking I’m talking about Emmitt Smith. I’m talking about a lot of people around me, credible people, that you’ll be like, ‘Man, you don’t even know who Emmett Till is?’ He raised awareness to people who didn’t even know Emmett Till, to young kids who never even knew what happened to him…At the end of the day, he [Lil Wayne] brought positive light. When situations like that do happen, I don’t think he, in any way, form or fashion, did it out of disrespect towards the family.”

Are Ciara and Future engaged? It’s pretty clear that Ciara has found happiness in her current romance with rapper Future, but loyal fans of the R&B singer have already started to question if her romance has taken priority over her music these days. But it now appears that Future’s fans may now be able to ask the same question, and even more so, those that book him for appearances at their nightclubs. It’s being reported that Future did not show up to an appearance at Pulse, a Las Vegas nightclub, because he got into an argument with Ciara, and the club owners are furious that he was a no-show considering they paid him to attend. Apparently the club owner and booking manager for Pulse called into The Breakfast Club the other day to spill the tea and they also slipped up and said the lovebirds are engaged. Here’s the scoop from Mstarz:

This is how it all went down, allegedly Future and Ciara were beefing as their was some dispute about how they were getting to the event and what cars Ci Ci and Future would ride in. The company tried to appease the fickle celebs with a stretch limo and town car; however, they were not to their liking. Finally the club arranged for four SVU’s to retrieve Ciara, Future, and their entourage to shuttle them to the scheduled event, but the couple decided that they were going to skip it and dine at a nearby steakhouse.

After that last act of disrespect, the club kicked Ciara and Future out of the rooms they booked for them on account that Future was scheduled to appear at the club. Getting kicked out of the hotel was obviously not part of Rocko, Future’s manager’s plans. He called into New York’s Power 105.1 to vent about the issue as he blamed Ciara.

“I don’t give a d*mn about Ciara. I didn’t book Ciara,” Cliff Dutton, Pusle club Promoter told The Breakfast Club.

The owner of Pulse, Kiki, is the one that said Ciara and Future are engaged:

“I know he got engaged and he’s in love and all that, but when you gotta work, man up and get to work Future. You had a commitment to us. We had to call out 30 Metro officers to secure our building when we announced that he wasn’t going to show up.”

Apparently Future was paid $46,000 to make the appearance and the club owner says she plans on filing a lawsuit to retrieve the money paid to the rapper.

Ciara is back with new music as so far her single ‘Body Party’ is performing rather well on the charts. And the singer is on a mission to get her music career going strong again as she has made some changes to her upcoming album that has gotten great reviews so far prior to it being officially released. Ciara’s music career is on the up and up these days and so is her love life as CiCi has started up a relationship with Rapper Future. Though their relationship is still a rather fresh one, Ciara and Future have gushed about each other on many occasions in interviews and seem to be really feeling each other. It’s obvious that things are going well between Ciara and Future from what we can tell, but supposedly the latest gossip bit on these two suggests that their relationship involves more than just them.

Ciara and Future were spotted in pictures together inside the King of Diamonds club earlier this week. And a story from MediaTakeOut suggested that Ciara and Future did more than make it rain on the adult dancers at the club as the website claimed that Ciara and Future took one of the dancers back home with them to engage in group activity in the bedroom, leading people to question if Ciara and Future have some sort of open relationship going on.

A source who is said to be employed by the club tells HipHollywood though that no dancer left the club with Ciara and Future but they did spend money while inside the club, Future dropping around $16,000 on the dancers, not the $55,000 that MTO reported.

HipHollywood’s source must be on it as Ciara took to her Twitter account and says to kill that talk about her having a ‘minaj’ because she is not even one for sharing her man with another woman:

Ciara might have a new album dropping soon and may be doing exceptional on iTunes these days, but when people aren’t talking about her “beef” with Rihanna, they are talking about her cutesy romance with rapper Future. It’s pretty evident that she is truly happy in her relationship with Future, but even though she’s moved on with the up and coming rapper, many still wonder why she could never manage to get 50 Cent to claim her and talk highly of her in his interviews like Future does regularly. Ciara suggested sometime last year that she thinks 50 was afraid to love her, but she opened up in her recent interview with MTV News and admits she’s glad she has landed a man who has no problem acknowledging her. And now when she looks back on things, she feels a secretive romance isn’t the best situation for her like she thought it was at the time. Ciara says:

You know what it is…let me just say this. I’ve had my experiences over the years and I’ve been able to learn a lot. When you do step outside, you put yourself in a position to where as people are going to be able to judge, they can criticize, they can give their opinion. And that’s always something I used to always fear. I’m kind of in a place where I’m facing my fears. I’m running towards my fears. I’m running towards the things that make me uncomfortable because I feel like if I live my life based off of those things, I won’t live my life how I’m supposed to. I won’t live my life to the fullest. And I feel like you have to really live your life for you. That’s where I am at this day and time in my life. And I’m also with someone who makes me feel extremely comfortable to be that way which is really important.

“And the way that he makes me feel is just like, ‘Why not?’ If you love somebody, you should express it. And now I understand that like before I used to think…I’m thinking I’m trying to protect it but realizing I’m really only making it more complicated or I’m really only harming the situation, so there’s nothing sexy about hiding your love. There’s nothing sexy about people not acknowledging each other. It’s a lot of stuff I’ve learned. And it feels so good to free in that.”

R&B singer Ciara is back on the music scene and she’s all set to drop her next studio album this summer. Although the singer originally had plans of releasing an album entitled One Woman Army, she scrapped those plans and confirmed last week that her new album has instead been named Ciara. With a new album title came new album artwork, the scrapping of two singles she’s already released, and a new due date (her album was originally slated to drop in June). However, Ciara is sticking with her current single “Body Party,” and the sexy anthem is already getting lots of radio play, so it makes sense that she dropped the music video for the single while the song has plenty of buzz.

Yesterday, the video premiered on BET’s 106 and Park, as well as YouTube. Ciara’s fans have already expressed that they love the music video, especially since it features Ciara’s current boo thang Future. If you haven’t watched the video yet, here’s a quick summary of the events.

Ciara basically walks up in the party in very cute 90′s inspired attire, drops it low with her girlfriends and then makes eye contact with Future who was there with his friends. After the party, Future then approaches Ciara and tells her he knows she will be his one day, and then the video flashes to a scene of both of the lovebirds in Future’s bedroom. Ciara does a seductive dance than consists of a head stand, and rocks some pretty sexy lingerie in the process.

Through it all, she looked gorgeous, and it looked as if she had plenty of fun making the video.

Notable appearances include Joseline Hernandez, Stevie J., Ludacris, Future, Trinidad James and even her former producer Jazzy Pha.

R&B singer Ciara is working on her comeback and with a new album dropping this summer (One Woman Army), Ciara is ready to prove she still has it and she has a lot more to offer R&B enthusiasts. Although Ciara’s single “Body Party” debuted strong on iTunes, the singer’s growing romance with up and coming rapper Future is getting way more attention these days. And one of the reasons has to be because Ciara is usually a very private person and she doesn’t like to open up a whole lot about her love life. Ciara has dated rappers Bow Wow and 50 Cent, but she has said more about the relationships post the breakups than while she actually dated them. However, when it comes to Ciara’s relationship with Future, she’s game for telling the whole world how happy she is.

In a recent interview with Power 99, the R&B singer explains just why she’s now decided to open up more about her personal life. Ciara says:

“It’s just a whole new thing that’s happened within myself internally that’s kinda inspired me to do things differently. I’ve been able to learn a lot over the past years of my life. I’ve tried things many different ways. I’m now in a place in my life where I’m so much more comfortable than I’ve ever been in my skin. I’ve learned that you gotta live your life for you. People are gonna have something to say no matter which way you do it.”

And when it comes to her relationship with Future, Ciara says they just like to keep things fun and enjoy each others’ company:

“We do normal stuff. We go eat, go to the movies, and all that fun stuff. The simple moments is when I think you have the most fun.”

Ciara and Future’s romance is still going strong, and although Ciara is highly anticipating the release of her upcoming album One Woman Army, Future has managed to get her just as enthusiastic about her love life again because he continues to praise her in his recent interviews. It’s clear the couple is past the whole “privacy” part of their celebrity romance, and Future has managed to keep Ciara very happy during all the drama he’s been having with his baby mamas. The rapper admitted on Twitter that he sees his exes as nothing more than hard lessons he needed to learn, but his relationship with Ciara is what he feels is the real thing. In a recent interview, Ciara returns the love and praises her boo Future’s rap skills. She tells Dazed Digital:

“We’re on the same label, and they had always wanted us to work together. I think his approach to making music is very unique. He doesn’t approach it in the typical rapper way, and he can write real R&B pop melodies. ‘Wake Up, No Make Up’ was produced by Mike WiLL Made It and Future in collaboration, so there’s a little hip hop influence in it too.”

Ciara also credits Future for helping her become more aggressive in her music:

“I love being aggressive at certain points in my records, and working with him helps me to tap into a different kind of aggressiveness, because he also has his own. It’s a different perspective. Everything happened very organically on this record. There are the more pop-heavy songs, but there’s gonna be this super-hardcore urban bottom. Me and Future have written a few other songs that are going to be on the album as well.”

Future and Ciara have already made it pretty clear that they are a couple, however, Future’s past which includes three baby mamas keeps making news since these women continue to throw shade on Twitter and causing drama for Ciara on a regular basis. Not to mention that Future just gained another baby mama recently, and it appears that Future’s baby mamas aren’t done going to the court to handle their issues with the rap star. According to TMZ, one of Future’s BMs has filed paperwork in the court and is requesting that Future pays more in monthly child support payments because he was bragging on how much money he makes in a recent interview. Here’s a snippet of the report from TMZ:

TMZ broke the story … Future and baby mama Jessica Smith struck a child support agreement in which the rapper agreed to pay $1,662 a month for their 10-year-old son … predicated on his monthly income which he set at $16,516.

But days after they hashed out the agreement, Smith says Future — real name Nayvadius Wilburn — went on TV and boasted he carries $25,000 cash on him at all times … MINIMUM.

Smith immediately went back to court, filing new docs to invalidate their deal and increase his child support obligation. She believes his actual monthly income exceeds $50,000.

Despite the new situation with one of Future’s baby mamas, it appears that Ciara and Future have decided to keep it positive. Future even took to his Twitter account to say that he feels all of their exes were nothing more than “growing pains” and he and Ciara are perfect together:

R&B singer Ciara is working on her comeback, and fresh from declaring that her past which consists of low album sales isn’t enough to make her give up, she’s getting back to her musical roots and just dropped sultry R&B track “Body Party.” Rihanna may not be a fan, but Ciara’s new single is already doing well in sales on iTunes. And with a new romance with up and coming rapper Future, Ciara says she’s pretty happy these days. The album is expected to drop this summer, and now that she’s teamed up with LA Reid, it’s clear that the singer is pulling all the stops to make sure she gets another hit album.

In a recent interview with TheFader.com, her boo Future says that he feels confident enough to call the upcoming album a classic. He also says in his opinion, his girlfriend is a true superstar:

“Yeah, for sure. It’s great because I just take the role of just playing beside her and just letting her run it the way she run it. Because she know what she want. You know what I’m saying? So it’s easy working with a superstar who’s done it over and over and over several times, making hits. So outside our relationship, when we in the studio we just go freelance and just let her do whatever she do. As an artist I’m there to critique what she got going on…That’s why One Woman Army gonna be one of the greatest albums she’s released. Cause she took her time with it. She overcame a lot…I’m already calling it a classic before it even come out.”

The support Future is displaying for Ciara is exceeding the highest levels of cuteness.

There’s nothing more scandalous than tweeting when you’re angry. Rapper Future might be an up and coming rapper with a lot of radio buzz, but he’s also an up and coming baby daddy with a lot of baby mamas popping up every other week it seems. Future is beefing with one of his baby mamas over his new romance with R&B singer Ciara, but now it appears that he may have allegedly gained two more baby mamas in two weeks. Interestingly enough, the baby mama he’s been beefing with on Twitter spilled the tea that another woman would be stepping forward and seeking child support just days before it was confirmed by court records obtained by TMZ. But thanks to the social networking site Twitter, Future is racking up not only new baby mamas, but he’s also racking up drama.

As we recently reported, Ciara has been one of Future’s baby mama’s favorite targets for shade for the last couple of months, and although Ciara has decided not to respond anymore to the drama that’s involving her new boo, it appears that Future’s baby mama is still taking shots at the singer on Twitter.

The young woman recently called Ciara a “has been,” and now it appears that she may be now taking shots at Ciara and her fans by hitting them where it really hurts: low album sales. After reports confirmed that Future might have gained another baby mama, she tweets:

Despite the shade being thrown to the couple on Twitter, Future and Ciara seem to be moving forward with their romance. The couple was spotted partying and cuddling up in various parties the night of the Grammys.
