JR Smith isn’t having the best luck these days. In fact, he went from looking amazing on the basketball court to letting his team, the New York Knicks, down pretty terribly during the majority of the playoffs. Smith’s disappointing performance is being blamed on his many nights of late night partying, however, some fans of the basketball team were hoping they could place some of the blame on Rihanna. The singer was spotted on a few occasions in the same clubs as JR, causing many to speculate that they were rekindling their former romance. So when one of the Knicks biggest fans accused her of “distracting” the basketball player during the playoffs, Rihanna went off and had a few words for the fan and JR Smith too. She wrote:

JR Smith has cut out a lot of his social media activity down these days but he did respond to Rihanna’s digs when asked by reporters how he feels about her rant. Zags Blog reports:
Rihanna might be coming after J.R. Smith on Instagram, but he’s not taking the bait.
“I’m not worried about Instagram, I’m worried about the playoffs,” Smith said after going 4-for-11 for 13 points in the Knicks’ 85-75 win in Game 5 that kept their season alive for at least one more game.
Perhaps that’s the best response to prevent a Twitter/Instagram war with Rihanna.
Reality television is used by most as a platform that is supposed to eventually lead to much bigger opportunities. And so far most reality stars are working hard to make that happen. NeNe Leakes has used Real Housewives of Atlanta to become a real actress, and newcomer K. Michelle used Love and Hip Hop Atlanta to get her R&B career in motion, she now has a record deal and is even working on her debut studio album. Evelyn Lozada has managed to get a makeup line and book series thanks to her Basketball Wives stardom, and Tami Roman is acting and racking up endorsements in weight loss. Jennifer Williams may no longer be on Basketball Wives, but that doesn’t mean she doesn’t have opportunities.
Jennifer isn’t just trying her hand at a line of lip gloss (Lucid) these days. It was recently confirmed that Jennifer will be the new spokeswoman of Shine ‘n Jam by Ampro products.

In related news, J.R. Smith has also nabbed an endorsement. J.R. Smith is now a spokesperson for SK Energy. SK Energy is an energy shot that was founded by 50 Cent and the brand is fighting against world hunger. Regarding the new sponsorship, J.R. tells ESPN:
“It’s a great thing to be a part of, especially with helping kids and homeless kids as well. It actually helps my game a lot, too — to come out and get energized, and hopefully protect our home Garden court. I use it during practice if I’m feeling sluggish. It definitely gives me that boost to go out there and perform. If not, Coach [Mike] Woodson is definitely going to be on me.”
J.R. Smith joins fellow celebrities and athletes Joan Rivers, Pauly D, Wes Welker, and Miles Austin in endorsing the brand.
Although things are clearly over between them, K. Michelle confirmed that she’s decided to use the situation for material on her upcoming studio album that is speculated to be dropping this summer.
J.R. Smith still claims things weren’t all that serious between him and K. Michelle, and he thinks she’s using the situation to keep herself relevant.
Regardless, he took to his Instagram account the other day and decided to post some advice on how to successfully date an athlete. Now this didn’t sit well with most of his female fans because the advice sounds a bit on the selfish side.

J.R. Smith’s track record with the ladies isn’t a very good one. The basketball player has dated many beauties, however, he has a reputation of being somewhat of a douche bag. Love and Hip Hop star Tahiry Jose says she had to end things with Smith after he tweeted a picture of her infamous booty to his millions of Twitter followers. Interestingly enough, he had a brief romance with another Love and Hip Hop star, and Love and Hip Hop Atlanta feisty chick K. Michelle isn’t too fond of the NBA player these days either after he attempted to embarrass her on Twitter after their romance went sour. K. Michelle decided to make good use out of the situation, and credits her new music to the disastrous relationship.
It looks like J.R. is back to burning bridges with women, and per usual, it looks like Twitter is his platform to yet again get on a woman’s bad side.
The other day, allegedly s young woman decided to screen shot direct messages between her and J.R. Smith; and then uploaded them to the social networks. Apparently, she wasn’t impressed by the “game” the basketball player approached her with.
After a little back and forth between the two, he flat-out asked her if they were going to sleep together after she told him she was going to his basketball game.

Kim Kardashian and her estranged husband Kris Humphries ended their relationship quickly, but the divorce has been a very lengthy and bitter one. Although Kim Kardashian is currently pregnant with current beau Kanye West’s baby, the reality star’s divorce from Kris appears to be climbing into the two-year mark. Kim is busy doing plenty of publicity and interviews to promote her current reality show with her sister Kourtney Kardashian, and according to Kim, her attorneys informed her that the divorce may finally be finalized this year.
The hold up to divorce is Kim’s refusal to accept Kris Humphries offering of an annulment, considering he now thinks Kim used him for a TV wedding and publicity, but Kim doesn’t want to admit that the marriage was a sham, even though Kris’ camp has already come to the conclusion that not only did Kim cheat on Reggie with Kanye, but she most likely cheated with Kanye while she was engaged and even married to Kris.
Regardless, Kris Humphries, who plays for the Brooklyn Nets, can’t seem to separate himself from “Kimye” even when it comes to his basketball career.

After being fined $25,000 by the NBA for tweeting a picture of Tahiry’s booty not too long ago, it appears that J.R. Smith still refuses to hold anything back on his Twitter account.
The season premiere of the third season of Love and Hip Hop aired last night, and it’s clear that the stars of the season will easily be Joe Budden and Tahiry. Joe Budden and Tahiry used to date and broke things off a couple of years ago, however, on the show, the former couple is attempting to develop a “friendship” despite him being in a serious relationship with someone else. We already told you everything between them seemed extremely forced, regardless, Tahiry claims the friction between her and Joe Budden has been going on since the breakup two years ago.
In a recent interview with Power 105′s the Breakfast Club, Tahiry dished on where her relationship with Joe Budden stands today, her past romance with J.R. Smith (who ironically just had a romantic falling out with fellow Love & Hip Hop star K. Michelle) and how she handled Joe Budden’s drug addiction to molly.
When asked if she ever thinks she will ever take Joe Budden back, Tahiry says:
“I don’t think that could ever happen. I could never get back with Joe. I don’t believe Joe could change. I don’t believe anything that Joe says at this point.”
On why she doesn’t think things will ever work out with Joe:
“I don’t think he’s matured much…just the way he moves around in all these relationships and stuff. I left for that reason. Unfortunately we’re both in the public eye, so I get to see a lot of the things that he does and I just don’t think that’s the kind of man I want to be with today.”
Joe Budden recently confirmed that he has an addiction to the popular drug “Molly.” Tahiry explains how it felt to watch him struggle with drug abuse although they were no longer together:
“It affected me. It hurt. When being with somebody for a long time, you can’t expect me not to care. Me watching him walking into Summer Jam and watching him on stage looking like he’s 90 pounds. I was watching it go all the way down. I was watching it and it was affecting me.
“It’s not no longer my job, so it was kind of hard for me…I didn’t even know how to address it. But me and his mom are really close, so it did affect me. I’m not with him but that doesn’t mean I want to see the guy choke up on some pills and die.”
Tahiry also conformed the rumors that she had puts some of Joe’s bills in her name and paid for things while they dated. Interestingly enough, after ending things with Joe, she dated K. Michelle’s former boo J.R. Smith (before K. Michelle did of course). Things between Tahiry and J.R. went bad after he tweeted a picture of her booty to his followers after the two had been intimate. She explains that she thinks he did it out of excitement and to make Joe jealous:
“I was there. It could have been a little bit of both. And I would say malicious because at the time Joey was harassing us. He probably wanted to tweet the cheeks and be like ‘Yeah, yeah!’ And maybe he was just excited. Six years before then he was trying to talk to me and I didn’t pay him any mind and six years later the cheeks are in front of him.”
Tahiry admitted the whole situation really did upset her but she pretended to find humor in it on her Twitter account:
“Actually, I’ma keep it all the way real. I was trying to save face. I was a mess. I was embarrassed.”
She also admits that the incident had driven a wedge in their breakup:
“It had something to do with it. We tried to keep it going but it just faded.”
Despite her new gig on Love and Hip Hop, the new reality star admitted that she’s been spending time in the studio and getting serious about launching a music career. It seems that a lot of reality stars have the same plan to record albums these days.
K. Michelle shading J.R. Smith again? K. Michelle has been making some major moves ever since she became a new edition to the world of reality TV, landing a casting spot with Love and Hip Hop Atlanta. And with the success that the show has seen with just one season, K. Michelle seems to be taking full advantage of it as her involvement with the show has caused her fan base to grow, even though she lost a few along the way, and has opened major doors for her, K. Michelle landing herself a major record deal with Warner Bros. not too long ago, a record deal being something that not all artists associated with the show are looking to get. While K.’s career has started to take off in the direction that she’d been hoping it would do for long time, she hasn’t seen the same success with her love life. But it looked like for a moment that K. had found herself someone that she was really feeling as she became romantically linked to NBA player J.R. Smith. Only for a short period of time though were the two involved as things started to fizzle out, and even got a little ugly at one point once one of K.’s friends got involved.
Even though she backs down from no one, K. looked to have met her match with J.R. and even admitted to being the one who caused a rift in what they had going on and wanted to fix things with him. That thought of hers went out the window though after J.R. continued to play her on Twitter, only to come back and apologize for it later. After the way things turned out between her and J.R., K. Michelle claimed that she was officially done with dating bad boys and was in search of a calm, chill guy who could balance her out. While K. is supposedly moving on from J.R. and all the other bad boys out there, the two are still mentioned together in the media. And it’s getting to the point where J.R.’s romance with K. Michelle is getting him just as much, if not more, press than what he actually does on the basketball court, at least that’s how K. sees it as she shaded him for hurting her and claims that his association with her is the reason behind his new found fame. Apparently, K. Michelle was referring to J. R. Smith making headline news in the New York Daily News yesterday. The publication wrote about J.R. Smith tweeting a picture of K. Michelle’s butt the other day, but quickly deleting it. Even though K. Michelle admits she has feelings for the basketball star, after he humiliated her on Twitter a couple of weeks ago, she’s convinced he is only using her for attention and wishes to move on.
Although J.R. Smith is a professional ball player in the NBA, his name began to get circulated in the media much more once he got involved with K. Michelle. The same goes for her alleged abusive ex-boyfriend music producer Memphitz who is moving forward with his lawsuit against K. Michelle, Mona Scott-Young and VH1.
Interestingly enough, J.R. Smith also has ties to another Love and Hip Hop star. Recently, he got fined by the NBA for tweeting pictures of Tahiry’s butt after her controversial break up with Joe Budden.
Does K. Michelle ever take a break from popping off on people on Twitter? Out of all the Love and Hip Hop Atlanta cast members, K. Michelle is by far the one who frequently engages in dragging sessions on her Twitter account. When a person steps out of line with their comments or when she gets the urge to shade other her other cast members, there is rarely a moment when the newly signed songstress goes silent in the Twittersphere. And with the off and on romance that she has going on with NBA player J.R. Smith, her tweets had at one point become much more lovey dovey and pleasant, and even a little raunchy too. But only for a moment they were though as K. Michelle and J.R. Smith have had their public fallouts a time or two before, some of their friends even putting their two cents in their feuding. By now though, it is no shock to catch K. Michelle showing out on Twitter, her followers growing much accustomed to it. Little did we know that the holiday season would not slow her down not one bit. On Christmas Eve, K.Michelle must have gotten into it with someone, one might assume that certain someone was probably J.R. Smith. Either way, the person must have come back and apologized to K. for whatever it was that they did to her. K. however wasn’t pressed at all to accept their apology:

Michelle however, seems to want to make things work. So even after the two stopped talking a couple of months ago because she caught him flirting with groupies on Twitter, she pleaded for him to giver her a second chance in her recent interviews. And although both were photographed getting close and kissing in the club recently, he still took to his Twitter account to proclaim that he is single and not dating the Love And Hip Hop Atlanta star. This of course managed to hurt K. Michelle’s feelings, and she claimed his behavior on Twitter is a result of a recent disagreement between the two.

K. Michelle has moved on from her situation with Memphitz and the reality star is taking another chance with dating. For the last couple of months, it has been rumored and pretty much confirmed on Twitter that K. Michelle and NBA baller J.R. Smith (New York Knicks) had a thing for each other. Did K. Michelle admit that she wants J.R. Smith back? Although she entered the industry from the music side of things, K. Michelle’s popularity increased when she joined the cast of Love and Hip Hop Atlanta, the hit VH1 reality show that has been the claim to fame for many of her other cast mates. As viewers of the show got a look into not only K.’s attempt to reignite her professional career as a singer, they also got a look into her personal life as well. The R&B singer spoke several times on her rocky past with her alleged abusive ex-boyfriend Memphitz. While many applauded K. for sharing her story, not everyone was being supportive of her, with some of her cast members questioning how true it was. As her beefs have simmered down now, K. Michelle has been hit with good news left and right lately, landing herself a huge record deal and covering King Magazine.
While K. continues to add to her growing fan base, she has managed to lose some of them along the way as K. is known for popping off on people on social media networks. She has even started to send messages to her haters in other ways, K. not really being one to ignore the comments that are made towards her. K.’s dragging of her critics is not the only thing she uses her account for as she stays informing her fans about the projects that she is working on and exposing them to the happenings in her love life, K. Michelle dating J.R. Smith at one point. And it didn’t take long for things to turn sour between them. Now however, it appears that the two are trying to work things out, maybe, as they were being rather flirty on Twitter. K. recently chatted about her status with J.R. and a number of other things with NY’s Hot 97, one of them including how she became apart of the Love and Hip Hop Atlanta cast, K. saying that she originally was not going to be on the spin off show:
“I was gonna do New York but they said, you know, my accent and everything, it just didn’t match or whatever. And I was in Atlanta,working and then Mona reached out to me and said my story needed to be told, what happened with me, and I got on the show.”
K. Michelle was asked about her involvement with the fight against domestic violence and said that even though people may think she is crazy, everyone has to have something that they stand for:
“Well, I mean they think I’m crazy regardless so it is what it is with that. But I had already been an advocate for domestic violence. I’ve done a lot of charity work with it. So that scene was something that was very powerful. Everybody in there was brought to tears from it. And those girls are girls that I actually keep up with still from Saving Our Daughters, the organization. So, you know, I can be ratchet and do a lot of stuff. But at the end of the day, you still have to have something that you stand for. And that’s something I stand for and that’s something I went through and that’s something I ain’t gone go through no more.”
K. Michelle was questioned about whether or not she talks to Rasheeda and how she felt about Rasheeda calling her a liar in reference to the alleged abuse involving Memphitz. And K. said:
“The thing with that, you not in the room with me, you don’t know my life. A lot of people tend to judge. You don’t know nothing about what I went through. And just because somebody your homie, you don’t know what they do behind closed doors. And for you to comment on situations that have nothing to do with you shows that you absolutely have no relevance and no time to do anything but stay up in my business.”
And she was asked if she ever felt like she wanted to get revenge on Memphitz and she admitted that sometimes she does feel the urge to:
“You know. sometimes you do. I wanna spit in his face. I have my days. Sometimes I’m on Jack Daniels and I feel some time of way.”
Although K. claimed that Memphitz was abusive to her in the past, she also added that the alleged physical abuse was not an on going thing yet he was often verbally abusive to her.
Speaking on the upcoming cast of Love and Hip Hop Atlanta, K. says that she is not for sure what new cast members are coming aboard but she did name drop who she has been around during the taping for the new season, throwing out Erica, Momma Dee, Ariane and Mimi’s names.
K. Michelle came onto the show as a musical artist but claims that she really didn’t have a career at all when asked about how her being on LHHATL has affected her career:
“I didn’t have a music career at first. I was signed. I was trying to put out music, I was doing shows, things like that. You guys are in radio, you know how that works, how the politricks of the game go when it comes to that. So what I basically did, I was able to gain this huge, I had fans but now I’m able to come to SOB’s and sell out two shows. And I’m able to do other things from the show. They thought it was gone hurt but you gotta pay attention. It ain’t gone hurt nothing that ain’t there.”
One of her songs was brought up into conversation titled “I Just Wanna F*ck”. And K. was asked if there was anyone that came to mind when she was writing the song. K. says that the person that inspired her to write it was J.R. Smith. And when asked was he her boo thang, K. said that he wasn’t but she was trying to change that:
“No. You know, we kinda talked and I messed up. And I’m on this Effie White thing to get him back.”
And she is not ashamed to say that she wants J.R. back:
“I’m very open in saying I want him back.”
K. Michelle said that after being with J.R., nobody else will do:
“What is real is, once I had a taste of that real, I don’t want nobody else. And I messed up.”
She has been hard at work trying to get J.R. to come back around. But says that if he doesn’t, she knows that she gave it her best shot:
“I have. I been going HAM man like, it is what it is. If he don’t come back, I went out with a bang. I did my best. But at least I went for the person I genuinely care for.”
K. Michelle even said that she wrote a come back song for J.R. Smith and even sung a little bit of it the on air, not scared at all to show how bad she has it for him.
