Keri Hilson Angers People with Controversial Relationship Advice

R&B singer Keri Hilson and social media networks just don’t mix do they? Like many other celebrities, Keri Hilson uses her Twitter and Instagram accounts to keep her fans in the know when it comes to the new music that she puts out, and any other good news that she has going on. But ever since Keri got called out for dissing Beyonce’ and Ciara, Keri denying ever having a problem with Ci or Bey to this day, the singer has been the target of many dragging sessions that are normally started up by members of “The Beyhive”. After getting fed up with years of insults and death threats from Beyonce’s fans, Keri Hilson took to her Twitter account to say that enough was enough. Though the social media network world hasn’t been the best to Keri over the years, the happenings of her love life have been some positive things that Keri has shared as it was reported awhile ago that the new man in the singer’s life was Oklahoma City Thunder’s Serge Ibaka. And with all the happiness that she has now with her relationship from what we can tell, Keri, like most women, reflected on a few things and she decided to offer a piece of relationship advice to all the ladies out there by posting this photo and message on Instagram:

Blogger Necole B*tchie peeped Keri’s IG post and wrote a post about it, creating some dialogue amongst her readers. And some of those who read the post were very offended by what Keri had to say. So to clear things up, Keri took to her Twitter account to further explain the message that she was trying to relay (Read from bottom to top):

Keri Hilson just can’t win when it comes to having a decent life on the social networks. For years it’s been speculated that the singer had some kind of beef and animosity towards Beyonce and some even thought she had some issues with Ciara. As a result, Ciara and Beyonce’s fans have been dragging her ever since on Twitter and refusing to let the singer have any kind of peace no matter what she tweets. But we have to say no one gives it to her harder than the BeyHive, and they take their tasks of making her mentions terrible on a daily basis more serious than the “C Squad” ever could.

Keri recently denied she had any beef with Beyonce or anyone when she recently told Hip Hollywood:

“No I don’t have any beef with any female artist.

“I think it’s just interesting that people are so…we live in such a gullible world and anything that’s written, anything that’s posted, any picture that is interpreted one way is taken as truth, it’s like bible now. You can Photoshop something put it out and everyone believes it.

“I’m human, it’s hurtful, it’s malicious. It’s not ok to just make up false things about someone and their personal life.”

Even though Keri recently said she has no beef with anyone, it’s just not enough to stop the constant dragging she receives on Twitter. So we can’t we’re surprised she finally snapped this morning.

R&B singer Keri Hilson’s singing career started off looking very promising. Keri had major success as a song writer, so it was no surprise that she wanted to step out from behind the scenes and become a star in her own right. Keri was able to get buzz easily with the release of her hit single “Turnin Me On,” as she pushed a feisty image blended in with women empowerment anthems. Unfortunately for Keri, things would start to go sour with her once she released the remix to “Turnin Me On” and was accused of dissing fellow R&B singers Ciara and Beyonce on the track.

Although Keri denied that she was taking shots at either Beyonce or Ciara, she initially became a target of the Beyhive and C-Squad. Keri gets dragged on Twitter daily as a result of the beefs.

Keri focused on her music despite the rumored beefs, but stir criticism again when she refused to pick up and promote a magazine on the red carpet that featured Beyonce on the cover.

It also didn’t help that her image drastically changed and she became somewhat of a sex kitten over night.

With her alleged hostility towards Beyonce, alleged diss to Ciara, and over the top new sexualized image; the singer’s career began to decline and so did her album sales.

Perhaps Keri wants to move forward in her career and get past her rumored feuds because in a recent interview with Hip Hollywood, Keri claims she doesn’t have beef with anyone. She also says that the rumors of having beefs have been very hurtful to her as well.

She says:

Keri Hilson decided to switch things up a bit a few years ago, showing that she was not only a songwriter but had what it took to start up a solo career, releasing her debut album In A Perfect World back in 2009. Her album soared to the top of the charts and featured collaborations with big names in the industry. And as a newcomer to the artist side of things, Keri managed to gained a lot of fans and enemies at the same time as she was caught throwing shade at a fellow Atlanta artist and a singer who has fans who set out to slaughter anyone who even thinks about coming out of their mouth’s wrong about her. Nonetheless, Keri kept pressing forward and went on to release another solo album No Boys Allowed. Aside from her rumored romances , her mistaken tweets that have gotten her named dragged through the mud, and modeling gigs, it’s been awhile since Keri Hilson has made headlines for her music. However, Keri has continued to put on shows for her fans. And though she hasn’t dropped an album in a minute, Keri says that that is about to change as the singer-songwriter confirmed that she is heading back to the studio to work on some new music. In an interview that she gave on the Red Carpet for VH1 Divas, Keri revealed some tidbits about what her fans should expect from her this time around. And says that they should be on the look out for a new sound from her as she has gone through a lot of changes from when she first started out:

“There’s a bit of transition in my sound now. I mean, I’ve done some growing personally, spiritually, professionally, business-wise, all the way around. You’ll hear some growth. So I’m really excited about what I’m doing, still working with Timbaland, still working with Polow…”

When she was asked about whether or not ‘Bad Girl Keri’ would show up again, Keri says that side of her isn’t going anywhere, admitting that she is a handful for publicists to deal with since she rarely holds her tongue for anyone:

“You’re gonna get ‘Bad Girl Keri’ just because I’m already a PR nightmare. So I mean, I’m gonna say what the f*ck is on my mind. And that’s where you get the ‘Bad Girl Keri’.”

And as far as what her songs will be about, Keri says she is drawing some inspiration from her past relationships with her “boos”.

Keri Hilson brought in big numbers with her first album And didn’t see nearly the same success with the second one, where ‘Bad Girl Keri’ was introduced. Yet it seems she is set on rolling with the bad girl thing on this new one that she is working on, for now at least.

Keri Hilson is usually pretty quiet when it comes to her personal life, but she has expressed in the past that she has is against dating another celebrity, but if it’s something real and it feels like it could be love for her, she wouldn’t be against it. The R&B singer has been rumored to have a new man for months, as it has been speculated by many that she is currently dating NBA star Serge Ibaka. Ibaka currently plays for the Oklahoma City Thunder, and whispers all around suggest they have seen Keri Hilson sitting in the stands of some of his recent games cheering the basketball player on. Keri, as to be expected, has been pretty mum about the rumors, but it appears that Instagram is every couple’s coming out party these days.

Despite Keri not confirming or denying the reports of her romance with Serge Ibaka, it looks like the basketball player has taken it upon himself to confirm the relationship. The other day, Keri celebrated her 30th birthday, so Ibaka found it necessary to wish her a happy birthday on his Twitter account. A couple of days later, he uploaded a picture of them cuddling and confirmed that the R&B singer enjoyed her big day. We’re just going to assume he had a little to do with that.

Keri Hilson Gets Slammed For Fake Tweet About Africa

Did Keri Hilson really diss Africans in a tweet from her account? Keri Hilson made much noise when she dropped her debut album In A Perfect World back in 2009. As the singer-songwriter’s first CD was laced with dope beats courtesy of Polow Da Don and Timbaland and catchy tracks that got much airplay, Keri didn’t see nearly as much success with her sophomore album No Boys Allowed. Although she has not put out an album lately, Keri Hilson is making headlines as she was recently offered a modeling contract, putting her pretty girl looks on display. As people can not deny Keri of her looks and ear for music, that hasn’t stopped her from rubbing people the wrong way, the singer bumping heads with loyal members of the Bey Hive and C-Squad for her lyrical disses towards Beyonce’ and Ciara. And now it appears that Bey and Ci Ci’s fans are not the only people that she has managed to piss off. Keri, like many of us were doing yesterday, was attempting to enjoy her Thanksgiving Day when she was rudely alerted about a supposed tweet of hers that was making its way around Twitter.

Not thrilled at all about being caught up in the nonsense, Keri took to her Twitter page to address the fake tweet that had her name attached to it, saying that it was completely fabricated and that she wasn’t even in Ghana at the time of the fake tweet:

The tweet was quickly exposed as a fake while Keri claimed that she has nothing but love for Africa. In fact, she is scheduled to perform in Tanzania and Kenya next month.

Keri Hilson just landed a modeling deal with Wilhelmina Modeling Agency and it looks like she’s already securing modeling gigs. The R&B singer is still making music of course, but she has decided to expand her brand a little further, just as Chris Brown plans to do with his new modeling contract. Hilson recently did a spread for AIE Magazine, and Ciara also did a spread of her own for the Paris based publication. Even though Keri did land the deal with Wilhelmina Modeling Agency, she did take to her Twitter account to ensure her fans that she is not trying pursue a serious career in modeling but she is excited nonetheless.
