Keyshia Cole has always been known to be very outspoken, but she may have burned a lot of bridges in the music industry when she decided to take jabs at Beyonce on her Twitter account recently. After Beyonce’s camp released her controversial “Bow Down” song, Keyshia took to the social networking site and called Beyonce out for being what she feels is a hypocrite. Keyshia immediately became a new target for the Beyhive and now it’s been confirmed that she has been placed on the ignore list for certain music producers and even some of her fellow singers have made it clear that they feel she needs to sit down and shut up. Regardless, that hasn’t managed to make Keyshia back down from her statements  and she still takes to her Twitter account to go on rants, making many question if she has a publicist.

Keyshia’s mother Frankie was around during the promo rounds for season two of Love and Hip Hop Atlanta and she decided to speak up for Keyshia when she was asked why she decided to go after Beyonce and Michelle Williams. Interestingly enough, Frankie said Keyshia only took shots out of boredom and her favorite R&B group is actually Destiny’s Child. She tells WRUG Media:

“Sometimes she gets bored. She didn’t mean no harm. Actually, it was a compliment. because Michelle did keep up. But she did say I’m not Frankie’s Child, I’m Destiny’s Child. Shout out to Keyshia. But my baby gon’ get that Grammy. Shout out to Michelle, Beyonce, and what’s the other one’s name? Deez nuts! I’m just playing. Shout out to Destiny’s Child. Y’all did a wonderful job.

“And Keyshia didn’t mean no harm. Y’all just gotta give her the benefit of the doubt. She’s married. Sometimes she gets bored. She has her Kodak moments but when she says something negative, that means it’s positive. That’s how she rolls.

“My baby loves all the celebrities. She loves everybody. Sometimes she has a bad way of showing it, a funny way of showing it. But when she focus on you that means that she loves you and is complimenting you. And I want to be like Keyshia when I grow up. She didn’t mean no harm. She loved it. She make you work. She just ain’t gon’ give you no compliment. You have to catch that and work for it. Keyshia didn’t mean no harm, she loves Destiny’s Child. That really is her favorite group. And the plot thickens.”

With the return of VH1′s hit reality show Love and Hip Hop Atlanta comes the opportunity to get a second glimpse of some of today’s most intriguing reality stars and an introduction to some new faces on the Atlanta Hip Hop scene. Traci Steele is a newbie on the show, and on episode two, viewers were introduced to her complicated relationship with the father to her son, DJ Babey Drew. It’s clear in the first few minutes of her appearance on the show that she isn’t one to hold back how she feels, and her outspokenness should easily help her fit right in with the outlandish cast that is most likely one of the reasons behind the flop season Love and Hip Hop New York just wrapped up.

Since Traci is a popular DJ in Atlanta, VH1 thought it would be a cool idea to ask her about her taste in music by asking her to pick who she felt were the better artists when given two different names. We’re sure VH1 wasn’t trying to be messy, but Traci was when they decided to shift gears to R&B. When the interviewer asked her to pick between Mary J. Blige and Keyshia Cole, the shade she provided which was then followed by intense laughing pretty much makes it clear how she feels about Keyshia.

VH1: Mary J or Keyshia Cole?

Traci: [laughs] Did you just say that out loud? Did you just put them in the same f—- category? [Laughs wildly]. Oooh Mary.

Ouch. Interestingly enough, Keyshia has been getting dragged for the last 24 hours. Not only did Traci Steele come for her but so did R&B singer Lil Mo who recently made an appearance on The Breakfast Club and said not only should she keep Beyonce’s name out her mouth, but Mo says she (Lil Mo) can sing circles around her easily.

R&B singer Keyshia Cole may have landed herself as the new favorite target of the Beyhive since she decided to slam Beyonce for her controversial “Bow Down” song, but when it comes to her own fan base, even some of her most loyal supporters aren’t too happy with her. As we reported recently, Keyshia made headlines after her own fans called into a Detroit radio station and blasted her for showing up to an event about two hours late. The fans even said Keyshia wasn’t even apologetic for her late arrival and told people who were angry to leave if they weren’t going to support her at this point of her career. Here’s some of the comments the fans exclusively told Hot 107.5:

“I mean I can’t believe Keyshia Cole had me waiting out here for three hours. She showed up 2 and a half hours late just to see her and I couldn’t even get a picture. What the f*ck is that?”

And a tweet suggested the singer had no issue with telling her own fans to leave if they had a problem:

“This b*tch MAAAAAAD, the crowd wasn’t rockin hard w/ her she said “At ths point in my career if u not rockin w/ me u can get out” lmaooooo u not Jay-Z or Beyonce ppl ain’t rockin w/ EVERY song. ..Aye my tickets were free soooo umnmm I can say this “Keyshia a rat w/ money” lol her stage presence says “cheese please” lmaooo”

Now Keyshia is no stranger to using her Twitter account to clap back at the media and critics, so we expected her to have a few words for the reports that claim she’s burned a few bridges with some of her own fans in Detroit. And by the looks of this tweet, it seems the singer isn’t fazed at all that she let down some of her fans. She tweets:

Keyshia Cole continues to say exactly what’s on her mind and is continuing to rub people the wrong way as the singer got under many people’s skin when she went on for a week on Twitter about Michelle Williams’ halftime performance with Beyonce and Kelly Rowland during the Super Bowl and the “beef” that Keyshia claims her and Michelle with each other. And the backlash that she got over her comments didn’t keep Keyshia from putting her opinions right on out there as she had plenty to say about Beyonce’s controversial ‘Bow Down’ track, her Beyonce diss leading some artists to pass on working with her over it. Through it all, Keyshia Cole has stuck by her comments and has no plans of backtracking on what she said from what we can tell. But now it looks like she may have pissed off the one group of people that she would want to keep happy, her own fans.

Keyshia was set to perform at Soundboard at MotorCity Casino in Detroit, Michigan and was scheduled to do a meet and greet at one the new urban fashion retailer Villa with HOT 107.5 radio station. The meet and greet was supposed to start at 2:00pm and Keyshia showed up 2 and a half hours late. For the fans who arrived early at 12:00 noon, they stood in line in rainy, cold weather for over four hours for the chance to meet Keyshia. One of the angry fans dialed in to the radio station and ripped Keyshia for showing up so late:

The fan says:

“I mean I can’t believe Keyshia Cole had me waiting out here for three hours. She showed up 2 and a half hours late just to see her and I couldn’t even get a picture. What the f*ck is that?”

To make her already pissed off fans even more pissed off, during her performance, Keyshia told them that if they couldn’t show her more love than what they were showing her, they could hit the exit door:

“At this point in my career if you not rockin’ with me you can get out.”

Another one of Keyshia’s fans clapped back at her message to the crowd from their Twitter account (tweet obtained by Hot 107.5):

“This b*tch MAAAAAAD, the crowd wasn’t rockin hard w/ her she said “At ths point in my career if u not rockin w/ me u can get out” lmaooooo u not Jay-Z or Beyonce ppl ain’t rockin w/ EVERY song. ..Aye my tickets were free soooo umnmm I can say this “Keyshia a rat w/ money” lol her stage presence says “cheese please” lmaooo”

Sources also revealed to the station that Keyshia Cole was waiting on staff members to bring her a special type of water before she would even step foot into the store.

Keyshia Cole and her comments about Beyonce’s song “Bow Down” continue to be the hot topic of conversation, but behind the scenes in the music industry, some are speculating that her opinion may have burned some bridges in the music industry. Earlier today, producer The-Dream may have confirmed the speculation, especially when he made it clear in his interview with The Breakfast Club that he couldn’t work with Keyshia after she came for Beyonce on Twitter. Just in case you missed it, here’s what he had to say about why he’s refusing to collaborate with the singer in the studio at this point of his career:

“Right now because of what happened I can’t and I think she would respect why I can’t. That’s my family. You have a grown up conversation you know, ‘You’re talking about my family and you can’t do that.”

To no surprise, Keyshia Cole responded on her Twitter account. The singer made it clear that she’s not upset about the producer’s comments and she feels it won’t affect her music career any. Read the tweets from the bottom up:

Twitter of course erupted after Keyshia tweeted her thoughts and Beyonce’s fans have been going “ham” in her mentions ever since the infamous tweets about “Bow Down.” The-Dream’s mentions haven’t been the most positive either since the media ran with his comments on his refusal to work with Keyshia. He also responded on Twitter and says his decision is all about loyalty. He tweets (read from the bottom up):

You just have to love and hate social media. On one hand, it’s a great way to stay connected to people you’ve met in all walks of your life, and then there’s always those moments where we’re all reminded that social media is the perfect platform for people to do and say things they wish they could take back later. Now Keyshia Cole likes to portray an image of a woman who is “real” and stands by all the things she tweets, but when it comes to the music industry, it’s possible that tweets and any forms of shade can ruin your career before it even takes off. That’s something that some would say Keri Hilson knows quite well, especially considering that she seemed to have so much potential until she appeared to be coming for Beyonce in a remix to “Turnin’ Me On.”

Just one month ago, Keyshia decided to shade Michelle Williams during their Super Bowl half time show. And Kelly Rowland then decided she’d check her, and reminded her that Destiny’s Child has achieved more in their career than she has and pretty much no one’s checking for her like they are checking for DC. Keyshia then suggested that people label her as some kind of villain for speaking her mind and she finds that to be unfair. And then to make things even more interesting, instead of coming for Kelly for providing the shade, she instead goes after Beyonce and her recent single “Bow Down/I Been On.” The Beyhive slaughtered her on Twitter, and to a lot of people, they feel that Keyshia’s isn’t all the way wrong, but they do feel that she’s more jealous than right.

Singer Meshell Ndegeocello (Her Billboard hits include Wild Night and Who Is He?) decided to give her views on the situation, and in a rather nice way; she tells Keyshia Cole to have several seats and stop criticizing other singers. And most would agree that it is becoming a trend for Keyshia.

Meshell writes on her Facebook page:

“I really felt good when I heard the new Beyoncé track “Bow Down / I Been On.” The energetic frequency transcends the lyrics and that’s beautiful. Keyshia Cole, “there is a special place in hell for women who don’t help other women” – Madeleine Albright said that once and it rings true. Stop critiquing people and lets support one another in the world. I, too, once felt it was necessary to give my two cents but the world is in real need of more detailed, nuanced analyses. Don’t take things out of context. “Bow Down / I Been On” is no different than the swagger many MC’s take AND IT’S FUN! Most of all, my body wants to move to it ;)

Keyshia Cole is back at it again. The R&B singer made headlines during Beyonce’s Super Bowl halftime show when she decided to make comments about Michelle Williams’ performing abilities. According to Keyshia, Michelle can’t hang with Beyonce or Kelly Rowland when it comes to the singing and dance moves. Keyshia of course got handled in her mentions considering that she’s not considered all that strong of a performer herself according to her critics, so many felt the tweets were a typical “pot meet kettle” type of situation. Although Keyshia caught a lot of heat for making the snide comments, the singer decided she was going to stand by her opinions. Michelle Williams decided to keep it classy though, and said that she feels all women should stick together in such a cold industry, but Kelly Rowland kept it gully and basically said that Keyshia Cole’s isn’t as relevant as Destiny’s Child is, and as a result, she could care less about her opinions.

Keyshia didn’t clap back at Kelly, but it was clear via her Instagram account that she felt attacked by Kelly’s comments and she doesn’t feel she deserves the “mean girl” labels she’s received post the controversy. However, Keyshia appears to now be coming for Beyonce, and of course the BeyHive is all over it.

Here’s what Keyshia tweeted about Beyonce and her new song ”Bow Down/I Been On.” She also tweeted about how real she is and what she says is hypocrisy in the music industry (read the tweets from the bottom up) :

Keyshia Cole’s controversial tweets regarding Michelle Williams’ recent performance at the Super Bowl may be in the past, but unfortunately for Keyshia, the tweets are still fresh on some people’s minds. Just to catch you up on the situation, Keyshia made it clear on her Twitter account during the Destiny’s Child SB reunion that she doesn’t feel Michelle can hang with Kelly Rowland and Beyonce on stage. People were not too happy that Keyshia was trying to throw shade, especially because many don’t feel she’s a strong performer herself.  Despite the nasty mentions, Keyshia stood by her comments and suggested she made the comments because Michelle talked reckless about her prior to the SB scandal.

Regardless, Michelle Williams has already made it clear that she isn’t worried about Keyshia, and feels women in the industry need to be more supportive of one another. Michelle may have kept it cute and positive, but her close friend and fellow Destiny’s Child member Kelly Rowland basically said in an interview with USA Today that Keyshia Cole isn’t relevant enough to be making snarky remarks about Michelle because more people care about them than they do her.

Keyshia hasn’t clapped back at Kelly for the most part since the comments became viral, but it looks like she did address the situation with a subtle Instagram photo. Keyshia seems to think she’s misunderstood, and she thinks people forget that clapping back to those who tried you first shouldn’t warrant the mean girl label.

Here’s the photo she posted the other day:

She also wrote “#Misunderstood!!” for the caption.

In related news, the R&B singer kicks off her “Woman to Woman” tour with fellow R&B star Chrisette Michele later this month.

Is K. Michelle‘s debut album going to include a Keyshia Cole collaboration? K. Michelle and Keyshia Cole have drawn many comparisons to each other when it comes to their styles as artists. Music isn’t the only thing that they share in common though as both K. and Keyshia have both been notorious for dragging people, fans included, on their social media accounts when they feel disrespected, Keyshia Cole carrying on for over a week about the beef she has with Michelle Williams, Kelly Rowland checking Keyshia for shading Michelle. And although many people coin them as the splittng image of each other, there was one point in time when there was a beef brewing between K. Michelle and Keyshia Cole, a beef that has since been squashed. Though she has turned many folks off with her attitude, K. Michelle still has plenty of fans to show for as she was one of the main sources of entertainment on Season 1 of Love & Hip Hop Atlanta, a gig she is planning on giving up.

K. Michelle has been hard at work on her new solo album ‘Rebellious Soul’ that is set to drop this summer. And her fans have been dying to know who is going to be featured on the album. When one of them tweeted K. Michelle with hopes of hearing Keyshia Cole and K. Michelle get on a track together, K. responded by saying that she is going to try to make it happen:

Sounds like K. Michelle and Keyshia Cole may be getting into the studio together real soon.

Keyshia Cole seems to have finally moved on from the whole Michelle Williams incident, but it appears that not everyone is ready to let bygones be bygones, especially when Keyshia still refuses to apologize for taking shots at Michelle during her Super Bowl performance. Just in case you didn’t know, Keyshia made headlines after she clowned Michelle’s performing skills and basically said she felt like Michelle couldn’t keep up with Beyonce and Kelly Rowland on the stage. Of course Keyshia did get dragged for her comments, especially since most don’t consider her to be a strong performer either. So to many, the situation was pretty much the pot calling the kettle black.

But when it comes to Destiny’s Child, people have always speculated that there’s some kind of false friendship between Beyonce, Kelly, and Michelle; but we don’t’ see why considering that they have no problem checking people for one another. Case in point, Kelly just dragged Keyshia’s entire existence in her recent interview with USA Today. And we have to say, we didn’t know the beauty had it in her, but we do like it very much. Not that we don’t like Keyshia, we just appreciate women who have mastered the art of throwing shade.

Anyway, when the publication asked her how she felt about Keshia’s diss of Michelle Williams, she says:

“It didn’t even make it on my radar until other people brought it up. It didn’t even matter. We had a wonderful performance, and that’s all I cared about. I was with my sisters and the three of us matter to each other, and that’s all that counts. We matter to a lot more people, with all due respect, than her. So, I really don’t care what she said.”

Ouch.

Will Keyshia Cole respond, oh we surely expect her to. We’re just not sure if she can top the shots Kelly just offered her in this interview though.

Keyshia Cole has had an interesting couple of weeks. The singer made headlines when she talked reckless about Michelle William’s performance at the Super Bowl along side Beyonce and Kelly Rowland; and even made it clear that there wasn’t anything anyone could say or tweet to make her retract her statements. Michelle Williams made it clear in her interview with Billboard and her personal Facebook page that she isn’t concerned about what Keyshia thinks of her. She also admitted that she wished women supported each other more when they have big moments like performing at the Super Bowl halftime show.

Although it was kind of obvious that the criticism she received started to get under her skin, many started to wonder if Keyshia was just acting out on Twitter for other reasons. Specifically, people wondered if she was unhappy in her marriage to Daniel Gibson. Keyshia didn’t help people’s curiosity when she tweeted some very cryptic tweets the other day, and neither did Daniel would he tweeted some of his own. However, it appears that the couple wants to set the record straight and let the media know that they aren’t giving up on their marriage, despite what we’ve been seeing posted on their Twitter and Instagram accounts.

Daniel posted the following photos and captions:

We still think both were venting their frustrations with one another on the social networks, but it’s good to see that Keyshia Cole and Daniel Gibson plan to stick it out and stay together.
