Singer Mariah Carey is greeted by booing fans at a show in Las Vegas.

Mariah Carey kept her fans waiting for over two hours at a concert in Las Vegas last weekend.
The singer blames her tardiness on vocal problems, and refused to take the stage until her doctor cleared her for the performance. Carey decided to take the stage last minute, and concert goers became angry and restless due to the singer’s delay. As she took the stage, she told the audience:
“I’d like to apologize for my tardiness. You probably won’t believe me, and they’ll probably make a big thing of it, ‘oh Mariah had to get her doctor in,’ but I got sick yet again because it’s winter, I didn’t think I could come out here tonight.”
Fans were not pleased with the apology and proceeded to boo the singer.
The concert was the finale for her Angels Advocate tour in which R&B superstar Ciara was the opening act.
