Although the North Carolina Tarheels men’s basketball team had a rough season, next year looks very promising for them. Superstar high school athlete Harrison Barnes will definitely aid in the rejuvenation of the team.

Harrison Barnes, along with 23 other top high school basketball players, participated in the 2010 McDonald’s All-American game. Barnes was named the West’s Most Outstanding Player in the McDonald’s All-American game on Wednesday and led the West with 18 points. The Ames High School forward was a finalist for the prestigious Naismith Award and won the Morgan Wootten Player of the Year Award. Other UNC recruits include Dumfries, VA point guard Kendall Marshall and North Carolina native Reggie Bullock.
