Phoenix Suns Do The Unthinkable, Advancing To The Western Finals

Even with an eye swollen shut, Phoenix Suns’ Steve Nash proved to us that he can still dominate a basketball game under any condition. With sound play from their veteran point guard, the Phoenix Suns rose to the challenge, not only winning their series against the San Antonio Spurs, but sweeping them. With the combination of Steve Nash and Amar’e Stoudemire, the Suns will be good competition for whoever comes out of the series between the Lakers and the Jazz.

Celtics Bounce Back From Tough Loss To Cavs

After getting slaughtered by the Cleveland Cavaliers in Game 3, the Boston Celtics came back with a vengeance for the next one. The King’s ailing elbow has been the main topic of conversation throughout this series. But with Celtics’ Rajon Rondo’s performance in Game 4, the “elbow” talk was put on hold. Rondo came up huge in this game with a triple double (29 points, 13 assists and 18 rebounds). With this Boston win, the series is now tied up.

Lakers and Magic On The Verge of Sweeps

Both the Los Angeles Lakers and the Orlando Magic are on the verge of sweeping their opponents. The Utah Jazz, like most teams, have had trouble containing Lakers’ star Kobe Bryant as he has been able to create shots for himself during clutch time. The Atlanta Hawks have been attempting to limit the 3-point shooting opportunities for the Orlando Magic. But with shooters like Vince Carter and Rashard Lewis, Atlanta has had a trouble pulling off a win. The final verdict for both series will be decided tonight.
