The Ace Hood fake Rolex accusations started up after the rapper experienced a rather embarrassing moment at the 2013 BET Awards. Shortly after reports surfaced about Rick Ross getting sued for allegedly not paying for his Rolexes, Ace Hood’s Rolex fell completely apart while he was on the red carpet at the BET Awards. During his interview with 106 & Park hosts Bow Wow and Angela Simmons, the bezel of the rapper’s expensive watch fell off. And it took no time at all for people to take to their social media accounts to clown the rapper over his watch falling apart on national television with memes. Even though he got clowned horribly over the Rolly mishaps and accused of rocking a fake piece of jewelry, Ace Hood has continued to be a good sport about the whole thing but he did have to fire his jeweler over the incident.

Ace Hood tells DJ Smirnoff Ice of VLADTV:

“During the interview man, a little situation went down with my watch, you know. And at the end of the day, when you spend so much money on a watch, certain things are not supposed to happen you know what I mean? So my jeweler’s definitely…I had to fire the jeweler you know what I’m saying? He going through it man, he going through it. Nah man but you spend a lot of money man. I spent $60,000 on that watch man. But you know I was just as shocked as everybody else was when it did happen. It never happened to any of my other watches or everything. I looked up, I ain’t even know what it was. I figured it was my bracelet. But nah, it wasn’t no thing though.

“I ain’t gone lie. It was shocking to me. For it to happen right then, in that moment, I was like ‘You could’ve happened anywhere else in ya life. You could’ve happened when I was performing.’ I was just performed. I ripped down the stage everything. But you chose to let it be there. That’s how I know the devil be working man.”

  1. So he’s just going to keep lying. Rolexes don’t fall apart like that. It’s pretty sad these rappers will continue to live a lie to make it look like they have money. Wealthy people actually invest their money. Ignorance.

  2. I don’t know why any of these celebs were trying to make fun of him. They should be happy their rented jewelry didn’t fall apart on them on live TV.

  3. Clearly the watch was fake. At least he’s not spending money on something he can’t really afford. That’s why these rappers end up broke all the time.

  4. Keep trying to “BALL OUT” and keep up the facade & end up like Mc Hammer. Yall negroes gon learn one day smh!
