Rihanna’s is quickly becoming known as a woman that really knows how to party. She is constantly photographed partying anywhere from Los Angeles to Tokyo; just about every major city world wide. She has been also captured in pictures at various parties and strip clubs smoking kush (a strain of marijuana), and boozing like a certified alcoholic.
Her pastor and former mentor caught wind of her party girl ways was and frankly, he is absolutely worried. Bishop Vibert Lowe, in an interview with Now magazine, says he and many others are scared of the possible consequences of Rihanna’s excessive lifestyle.
“I’m very concerned. We all are.”
“She’s going the wrong way. When I saw the hospital picture I was so disturbed. She’s drunk a lot, she’s smoking a lot… It’s really bad behaviour and she’s getting worse. She could head down the same route as Whitney Houston. She promotes a bad girl image and that’s not responsible to her fans.”
Rihanna was recently hospitalized for flu-like symptoms after attending Vogue Magazine’s Met Ball. She was given an IV and hospitalized overnight, being released the day after.
According to The Sun, Rihanna released a statement to her fans.
“I am sorry to everyone who was coming out to my show in Malmo, Sweden. I was so excited to perform for you all.”
“It would have been a great time… so much better than being sick with the flu, ugh! I’m really disappointed I couldn’t be there”. She added.
It does appear that the constant partying, performing and traveling is starting to get to her physically. She along with many other performers, such as Ray J. and Rapper Rick Ross have been hospitalized for various ailments due to their excessive traveling, performing and partying. The lifestyle of an entertainer certainly gives her family and close associates a pause to worry. Whitney Houston passed away at the age of 48 with cocaine in her system and many other artists are still battling drug addictions they gained when they were younger.
