Moms Brawl During Their Children’s Pre-School Graduation

A group of parents did not set a good example and ruined graduation day as they fought during a pre-school graduation.

A school graduation is typically a joyous occasion where families get together and celebrate their children’s completion of one stage of schooling and advancement to the next. During this time, hugs are given, tears are shed and families warmly embrace their children; expressing their appreciation and admiration in their achievement. However, at one pre-school graduation in Los Angeles, California, parents forgot this and instead engaged in shameful behavior that was recorded for the world to see.

According to EAGNews.org, a brawl, that was recorded, occurred at Weemes Elementary between parents that were involved in facilitating the graduation. An anonymous reader sent EAGNews.org the video and described what occurred:

“This all started because my son’s teacher was so unorganized. Basically because of budget issues all the kids had to share a cap and gown for pictures. One of the moms in the video was basically taking over and the other one didn’t like it and told her something about it. The sad part was that there was an older lady that got pushed and she actually hit her head on a bookshelf and I rushed to help her but when this other mom rushed in to help us the angry women actually attacked the other mom.”

We sent an email to school administrators seeking an explanation for this madness. It was not returned.

What occurred here is a poor example for the kids there and those children deserve an apology from the parents involved. Parents will encounter disagreements with others however, the way they attempted to resolve their disagreement during the graduation was appalling at best. Not only that, but someone was injured during the scuffle.

Hopefully the kids participating in the graduating will forget this.
