Is there a Nicki Minaj and Azealia Banks Twitter Beef about to brew? That just may be what we are about to witness here folks. Nicki’s beef with Lil’ Kim is no secret at this point so seeing or hearing Nicki go in on Kim for being a has been and Kim slaying Nicki for being her mini-me without her permission is normal behavior to us now. But could rap newbie Azealia Banks, a person who is guilty of dragging Lil’ Kim herself for being a joke and losing her legendary status, now be on Nicki’s hit list too? What in the world could be happening between these two? We were under the impression that Nicki Minaj and Azealia Banks were cool with each other, especially since Azealia tweeted about her being invited to tour with Nicki overseas, something that she was extra happy about but had to turn the invite down to continue working on her album:
So was Nicki just as thrilled?
Well apparently she knew nothing about it. A few hours later following Banks’ tweet about the invite, Nicki tweeted about someone being real delusional about ever getting an invite to tour with her:
Was Azealia Banks the target for these shots that Nicki fired off? Was she calling her out for lying about being asked to join Nicki’s tour?
Whether Nicki was or not, Azealia must have surely thought so as she wasted not another minute and fired back, like we knew she would:
Nicki has been sitting on top of the female rap game for a good minute now. And she isn’t looking to hand over her spot just yet I would assume or share a drop of the spotlight with anybody either. Azealia Banks has a mouth and Nicki Minaj is no quiet one either. If those jabs of Nicki’s were truly meant for Azealia, this could get a little feistier in the next 24.
See this is what Eve was talking about. Nicki is the most divisive female rapper I’ve ever seen. She’s so insecure that she is shading a newbie. Other female rappers with more talent had a more sisterly attitude towards each other. She came along and ruined that.

Did the website crash or something last night? I couldn’t leave a comment on here to save my life yesterday. But back on topic, I think Nicki made a bigger deal out of this then she needed to. That was real petty on her part to show out on Twitter. I don’t understand why she felt the need to throw shade. Why does she always feel so threatened by other female rappers? If you are the best like you say you are, then there’s no need to throw so much shade.

I’m just learning of this Azealia chick but her music is pretty good. It’s fresh and it’s a lot more intriguing than Nicki’s. I think Nicki is a little intimidated. Remember when Trey Songz took shots at R. Kelly and they asked him how he felt about it, R. Kelly was like “What’s a fly to an elephant?” LOL, now that’s how NIcki is supposed to act. Not like this.
You people are delirious. I mean you might as well be smoking crack. Azealia’s ashy azz ain’t bout to do a damn thing. Nicki is a better rapper and has a bigger appeal that Azealia wishes she could have. Why is it that you people are still looking for someone to end Nicki’s career? LOL it’s not happening, so just accept. it. Nicki slaughters your fave without even trying.
Everything about Nicki Minaj makes me miss all the other female rappers before her. They could all make songs together and have successful albums at the same time. They didn’t really beef like that either. Nicki has never done a song on her own album with another female rapper. Why? Because she’s insecure as sh-t. She knows she’s overrated and her time is borrowed.
Azealia > Nicki. And she sings better too. Your time will be up real soon Barb.
Azealia Banks ain’t coming for Nicki’s spot. I just don’t see her going as mainstream as everyone thinks. I think she’s just as overrated as Nicki, but Nicki’s use of gimmicks is why she is successful.
Both of these women look a hot mess and can’t even rap that good. They make trashy music about sex and wear tacky wigs. Why are any of you checking for them?! Don’t you miss having real and quality female rappers who had more to offer? I’m sick of these cheap and disgusting looking female rappers.
