Eve Refuses to Be Like Mimi Faust And Vows to Never Take Stevie J. Back

Eve and Stevie J. ended on a rather scandalous note. It shouldn’t surprise you that Eve left Stevie J. when she figured out that he was a notorious cheater and industry womanizer, and even though Eve and Stevie J. were engaged to be married, she left the man she refers to as her first love because she didn’t want to be a weak woman for any man. After the breakup, Eve recorded her feelings of anger and disappointment in Stevie J. and his cheating ways through rap lyrics and she eventually had to deal with the embarrassment of the former couple’s sex tape being leaked on the internet. But since the entire world has been introduced to Stevie J., Eve has been silent on the producer’s past that includes a rocky relationship Eve credits for making her stronger woman. Eve finally breaks her silence on Stevie J. and his shameful behavior on Love And Hip Hop Atlanta.
During a recent appearance she made at the panel of The Uniquely You Summit, Eve basically said Stevie J. may have had her heart when she was 19 years old, but he doesn’t have a shot in hell with her now.
“Stevie J was my first love.”
“…You know what…that was a learning experience. You meet people all the time. We just happened to fall in love.”
“But thankfully I knew better. I know better. I am happily in love now. And the girl now? He couldn’t even see this. I would be like, ‘I’m sorry, we don’t speak the same language.'”
I only wish Mimi could develop the same attitude. They might be broken up for now, but something tells me that Mimi has no intentions to keep it that way. But I find comfort in knowing that an Eve and Stevie J. reconciliation won’t be happening. Anyway, peep the video:
