Chris Brown and Rihanna’s devastating past just won’t die, and it’s not just because there’s a whole lot of angry people who find it hard to get past Chris’ violent past against a woman, but it seems as if Rihanna keeps talking about the situation in her interviews. To Rihanna’s defense, she’s only answering the questions the interviewers are asking her, but this upcoming sit down interview with Oprah won’t do much to help Chris as he continues to put back the pieces to his damaged image and career. Although the interview happened a few years ago, most of the press refuses to talk to Rihanna about anything other than Chris. And it’s not going to change anytime soon as rumors keep circulating that the two are in the process of getting back together, a rumor Chris’ reps and Karrueche continue to shoot down.
Although Rihanna didn’t say much in the interview to hurt Chris’ career, people close to him are allegedly telling media sources that Chris has grown sick and tired of his name being brought up in Rihanna’s interviews. While these same sources suggest it’s no beef between the two, Chris still feels that he and Rihanna are supposed to be moving forward, and that means they shouldn’t be looking back in their interviews.
Here’s the reports:
“Chris is just confused about Rihanna’s decision to bring up the past again and again — this time in an interview with Oprah,” a source tells Radar. “Rihanna has previously given wide ranging interviews about the beating to Diane Sawyer and several print magazines. Chris just doesn’t think it’s productive or relevant to rehash the events since essentially nothing new is being revealed in the interview Rihanna has done with Oprah. Chris doesn’t begrudge Rihanna at all for talking about it but he thinks that in order for them to both move forward and not be defined by that one night, it would be better to stop bringing it up.”
And the source even revealed the current state of the former Hollywood couple:
“Rihanna and Chris have spoken since she did her interview with Oprah,” the insider reveals. “They have a very complicated and intense relationship even though Chris has a girlfriend. The fact is, Chris and Rihanna just can’t stay away from each other. There is a lot of love there — it’s definitely not a healthy situation for either one of them.”
I don’t blame him. The sh-t happened YEARS ago! Rihanna needs to move on and so does everyone else.
I agree that she needs to move on but Chris needs to be more understanding seeing that he is the one who beat her. And she was very emotional when she talked about it. Maybe it’s just a way for her to heal. Some people need to talk about things a thousands time before it hurts a little less.

I agree with Chris. She needs to move on already…she has so many more things (positive too) to talk about. She needs to stop letting the media use her tragedy for ratings and clicks.

Bingo. I have to agree with Chris.
That’s the thing tho, Rihanna has not done a thing to move forward from this. No counseling, nor has she dated a grown man. And because of that, she’s going to stay fixated on what happened. She still thinks Chris is the best thing since sliced bread and that’s how we know she hasn’t grown any or moved forward from all of this.
I believe this. Chris has even said this many times in his own interviews. Ten years from now, folks will still be linking them together and asking them about it. It won’t stop until they stop answering these questions.
All Rihanna is doing in that Oprah interview is causing people to relive what happened between them. The outrage and hatred for Chris will be renewed after this interview and that kind of sucks.
Chris needs to understand that we live in a country where people remember bad things and forget about the good things. There’s nothing he can do to erase the past, and yeah people still want Rihanna to talk about it. It is what it is.
Chris should have thought about that before he beat her a–.
love them both accident is an accident this happens in normal daily life ppl talk and rally about this cause they celeberties but they dont do sh-t when the news shows that wifes are being killed over domestic cases everyone hates chris over what? if anyone turly cared they would look into other people domestic cases and help them instead of hoping on sites and stating things that either celebs care about
