Rihanna’s IDGAF Attitude is Beginning to Cost Her Endorsement Deals

Rihanna is known for really not giving a f-ck about what other people think of her. While it wasn’t always that way, some would have to say that the situation that transpired between her and Chris Brown has caused her to have pretty thick skin when it comes to public opinions. She may love to throw shade to other R&B chicks and even her old boo Chris Brown’s girlfriend for kicks, but she isn’t one to take shade too well herself. She usually bites back, and responds to her critics in such a way that most people find Rihanna’s tweets a guilty pleasure. But most would say hat Rihanna’s pictures of her partying ways are a tad bit more interesting. And it seems as if Rihanna’s many pictures of her drunken night adventures are beginning to cost her some endorsements. It was recently announced that Nivea has decided to cut all ties with Rihanna and drop her as a spokesperson for the cosmetic company. And the new CEO, Stefan Heidenreich, says it’s all because Rihanna has just gotten too raunchy to represent what he considers a “family oriented” corporation.

Here’s what Stefan told Welt:

“Rihanna is a no go … I do not understand how to bring the core brand of Nivea in conjunction with Rihanna. Nivea is a company which stands for trust, family and reliability.”

Yikes. What’s more interesting is that Rihanna just signed on to represent the company last year.

Of course Rihanna responded and threw some shade in her own way. When news broke that Rihanna would be getting the boot from Nivea, she tweeted the following photo of Stefan and said the following:

When will people learn not to come for Rihanna?

  1. Isn’t Rihanna broke or just discovering that she lost millions in tour money? She probably can’t afford to be losing any endorsements. Get it together, Rih.

  2. I’m not sure why she’s trying to shade the Nivea CEO though. He told the damn truth. Her image is terrible and the company shouldn’t be associated with her. It’s cool to party sometimes, but handle your business. Rihanna used to do that. Now she’s cutting up on Twitter and getting caught up in cyber beefs with nobodies. Get that money and stop playing.

  3. That’s the thing about being a bad girl, no one wants you to represent their company anymore. I wonder if she still feels like her new image was worth it now?

  4. I guess Rihanna doesn’t really care since she wants to be so “real.” Me personally, I’d get my image together so I could make even more money. She spends too much of her time on Instagram and Twitter being ratchet than making money. She definitely needs to get her priorities back in order.

  5. Rihanna is still trying to find herself. But it’s obvious that she’s a very sensitive person because she doesn’t know how to let anything roll of her back. This chick reacts to every damn thing. To me, that’s not thick skin and this whole bag girl thing is just a front.

  6. I know Rihanna’s fans think this behavior is cute, but it’s really sad and pathetic actually. And obviously most people agree, because she’s getting dropped from major brands. I guess she’s just going to be a broke bad girl. #lame

  7. I think Rihanna’s IDGAF attitude is fake. Why else would she tweet back at people that go in on her? She really responds to all the negativity. That is not the doings of a person who doesn’t care.
