Just months after Evelyn Lozada saw her short marriage to Chad Johnson come to a tragic end, Evelyn has been forced to reexamine her life and most importantly, her public image after Chad decided to head butt her during a heated argument over a box of condoms. Once Evelyn realized that the public wasn’t totally bought on what she said happened on that infamous night between her and Chad, Evelyn has been giving interview after interview to change people’s perceptions about her and give her side of the story.

In her first interview since the incident, which was with Dateline, Evelyn admitted that she could understand why her behavior on Basketball Wives was troublesome for many that were having a hard time supporting her during her situation with Chad Johnson.

And she made it clear that as a result of becoming a victim of violence herself that she could no longer cause violence and negativity to others on Basketball Wives.

Well it looks like it may have just gotten a little easier for Evelyn to keep that promise. According to the latest gossip, Evelyn may not be returning to the show. They say that Evelyn has yet to make any decisions about whether or not she will be back for the upcoming season.

Here’s the report from TMZ:

Sources close to the production tell us … Tasha Marbury (ex NBA player Stephon Marbury’s wife) is in final talks to join the show — a much needed cast replacement after Royce, Jennifer and Kesha were all axed.

We’re told producers approached Tasha for two main reasons … she’s actually a basketball wife (she and Stephon married in 2002) … and secondly she’s already friends with some of the other “wives.”

Sources tell us, Tasha was previously asked to do season 1 of “BB Wives”, except Stephon nixed the idea — but now he lives in China part time playing for the Beijing Ducks … and changed his tune.

We’re also told producers are still looking to fill a couple more spots. One of which might be Evelyn Lozada’s — considering she has yet to make a decision about returning to the show.

  1. She really doesn’t need to return. The show was never a good look for her and this whole thing with Chad just made her a bigger star. She really doesn’t need the show anymore. Now she needs to get her own show and “rebuild her life” for the cameras.

  2. They should just cancel this stupid show altogether and send those bishes to the unemployment office. I’m tired of all of them.

  3. I have a feeling she’ll be right back on that show with a pay raise. This is an act I think. She has nothing else going on for her but this show.

  4. Good she doesn’t need to come back, forward the memo to the rest of the street girls I mean the cast lol
