The Real Housewives of Atlanta has made a few changes to the cast for the upcoming fifth season. Sheree Whitfield got the boot after the end of the last season, and two new ladies have been added to the show, this includes former Miss USA winner Kenya Moore and Porsha Stewart. With the addition to the cast, it has also been rumored that Kim Zolciak will play a more minor role this time around.  And despite the changes, it is clear by the sneak peek trailer that there will still be plenty of drama to go around. One of the biggest speculations regarding the show is the rumored clash between NeNe Leakes and Kenya Moore. Both ladies have very strong personalities, and it was even rumored that these two will come to blows on the show. Despite the rumors, both ladies tried to downplay the claims that they will fight physically on the series.

Although Kenya may end up having some beef with NeNe, some sources are claiming that she even develops a crush on Phaedra Parks’ husband Apollo, causing more drama between Moore and the rest of the housewives.

Well, I guess that’s not a problem for Kenya, because in a recent interview, she pretty much said she isn’t scared of any of them. And she’s willing to get down and dirty if need be.

When asked about her rumored fight with NeNe, she tells the NY Post:

“Listen, we were in Anguilla. There were people that were being rude, obnoxious, distasteful, and that doesn’t sit well with me and so I had a very visceral response and NeNe was definitely a part of that. It’s definitely an episode that people will want to watch.”

And she made it clear that she’s willing to clap back at anyone on the show:

“I’ve been best friends with people like Tyra Banks and Tracey Edmonds and Shaun Robinson. We have a great sisterhood. We’re supportive of each other. We’re kind to each other, and we’re good girlfriends.

I didn’t experience that fighting in my normal life in Hollywood. It is definitely a marked difference to me in the Atlanta situation.

You know what, I’ve been in worse situations. I’m a fighter, I’m from Detroit. I’m very resilient. I’m really not afraid of anything. So, some reality stars from Atlanta? No, I wasn’t afraid of any of them. I’ve been to the Academy Awards, I’m not afraid of a ‘Housewife’!”

As we recently reported, the new season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta premieres on Bravo, Sunday, November 4 at 9/8c.

  1. I’m still disappointed that she’s on this show. How do you go from Miss USA to RHOA? It’s always better to go from reality tv to movies, but to go from Miss USA/movies to RHOA is not a good look.
