Bobbi Kristina and her family have been criticized heavily for the last few weeks for their new Lifetime reality show entitled The Houstons: On Our Own. Critics have attacked the family for what they perceive as exhorting the death of Whitney Houston for reality stardom. In the middle of the controversy is Bobbi Kristina’s rather interesting romantic relationship with Nick Gordon. Although the couple continues to dismiss that they are in the wrong for dating (Nick is Bobbi’s god brother), many are speculating that Nick is only out to get Bobbi Kristina’s inheritance. Bobbi Kristina’s grandmother Cissy Houston tends to agree.

Regardless, Bobbi and Nick have not only had to defend their relationship since becoming a new favorite target for public scrutiny, but now they also have to defend their new reality show. Daily, Bobbi Kristina is being forced to defend her choices on her Twitter account. From her behavior on the show, odd relationship with Nick, to even press slights, it’s obvious the attention is starting to take a toll on the young woman. She’s even been rumored to have developed a rather nasty drinking problem as well.

Bobbi Kristina has finally had enough and made a video for the people who have been criticizing her family, their reality show, and her relationship with Nick Gordon. In the midst of the drama, she wants to remind people that she is still mourning her mother Whitney Houston.

She says:

“I am Bobbi Kristina Brown. I am 19 years old. And my mother just recently passed. I am in deep pain. I have my good days and my bad days. But my family’s behind me to protect me. This is me and my family’s journey. You know, at the end of the day, you can love me or hate me but I’m still human.”

  1. This little girl needs to have a seat. Yes, we get you are mourning. But why do it on camera? She wants to be famous so bad that it’s sad. She should take her inheritance and go life a good, normal life. But I know she won’t.

  2. Girl bye. When you decided to do this show, you opened yourself up to criticism. Sorry, you have to put on some thick skin and deal.

  3. No one made her do this show. She wanted the attention. I wish her the best, but it’s clear she always wanted to be a celeb. This is part of being famous.

  4. She looks just like her daddy! They are like twins. But that gap though…they don’t want to get braces? They can afford to.
