Chris Brown’s Halloween costume made quite the ruckus in the media and social networks once the singer revealed through his Instagram account that he and his friends had opted to dress like the Taliban for the popular holiday. The singer, who is also currently on probation for assaulting ex girlfriend and fellow singer Rihanna in 2009, also completed the look with fake rifles. Although Chris Brown has a dedicated fan base, he also has a huge group of people who hate him and find him to be somewhat of a symbol of violence and reckless behavior. So his choice of a Halloween costume probably wasn’t the best choice, but Chris tweeted later on that evening that it was all just in good fun.

Regardless, some in the Muslim community and those that felt it was disrespectful to September 11 just found the whole act distasteful and ridiculous. Many people took to their Twitter accounts and other social networking platforms to express their disgust in Chris’ decision. But there was one person who made headlines for defending Chris’ Halloween costume on Twitter, his momma Joyce Hawkins.

Chris Brown’s mom made it clear that she felt people were taking the costume way too seriously and had no real reason to be offended, especially since she feels it’s no different that Christians allowing their children to dress like devils.

Well, to no surprise, Chris seems to hold the same opinion as his mother.

In a recent interview with Power 106’s Big Boy, Chris Brown finally addressed the controversy surrounding his Halloween costume. And he dragged everyone who had something negative to say about it.

He says:

“It’s f-cking Halloween! It’s a motherf-cking Pagan holiday. We dress our kids up as Satan, demons, little goblins, and all this other sh-t. Get over it people!

I was dressed as the people we killed. The person we killed. Bin Laden! I was dressed as the people we killed.

It’s nobody’s mother-cking business and everybody’s who’s really mad about it, f-ck y’all!

  1. How charming and grown up. What the hell does Rihanna and Karrueche see in this dude? I’m lost. He ain’t got no body, he lost his looks like 5 years ago, and he is rude as hell. Don’t get me started on the paynus shots he sent to the blogs that were not at all impressive. Chile…

  2. SMH. I can’t with this guy anymore. His fans may think it’s cute, but he’ll see soon that it wasn’t. And don’t be trying to do Damage Control then either. Idiot.

  3. Dumbest interview he’s ever given and I am Team Breezy, but I’m not dumb enough to think this was a good move for him.

  4. I really wish he hadn’t said anything. I understand where he is coming from, but as a public figure, you have to be able to step out of your own shoes and get into the shoes of others sometimes. There are real people who have been affected by Bin Laden and he just took a massive dump on all of them. This is why people hate him so much and fail to believe he’s really sorry about what he did to Rihanna. Grow the F-CK up Chris. It’s not always about you.

  5. Here he goes again. Being angry and impulsive, just like most abusers. What a great way to show the world that you’ve changed. :-/

  6. How can he call it a pagan Holiday yet part take in? Contradicting ass if you are so strongly for what you believe I. The. There is no need to respond. I bet this bum partakes in Xmas Thankgiving B-days Easter you name it that are all pagan holidays. But let’s be clear he is no different than if he dressed up like Hitler Timothy McVeigh KKK so he should never be upset if a trick or treater came to his house dressed up as any if these fools …
