Halle Berry and Gabriel Aubry Call Truce on Custody Battle

By: Taren Vaughan

Halle Berry and Gabriel Aubry finally call a truce in their custody battle? Halle Berry and her ex-boyfriend Gabriel Aubry have not been on the greatest terms ever since they went their separate ways. And they have been engaging in an ongoing custody battle over their daughter Nahla, a battle that Halle found herself on the losing end of. As Halle’s wish to move her daughter overseas was not granted, she still seems to be quite happy in her relationship with fiancé Oliver Martinez. The couple found themselves in the middle of some crazy drama recently though as Halle witnessed her fiancé and ex-boyfriend Gabriel Aubry get into a nasty fight at her home. The fight resulted in a trip to the hospital for Aubry and a restraining order filed by Aubry against Oliver Martinez. It was rumored that Halle was the brains behind how the whole thing went down and more details continue to emerge about the brawl that took place at the actress’ home involving her ex and fiancé. As this whole thing looks to not be coming to an end any time soon, it appears something is on its way to being resolved as Halle Berry and her ex Gabriel Aubry have come to an agreement with each other in their custody battle that they have had going on concerning their daughter according to a statement released by attorneys of both Halle and Gabriel:

After a long court battle and an ugly fistfight outside her house, Halle Berry and her ex Gabriel Aubry appear to have settled their key differences over custody of 4 ½-year-old daughter Nahla – for now.

“The parties have reached an amicable agreement,” read a written statement held up by attorney Blair Berk, who represents Berry, after a hearing Thursday in Los Angeles. “There will be no further statements regarding this matter.”

Aubry, wearing a black sport coat with dark sunglasses to mask his bruised face, was present, but Berry and her fiancé Olivier Martinez did not attend.
Just exactly what they agreed to – earlier issues ranged from residency to restraining orders – wasn’t known.

But the deal was worked out on the same day an emergency protective order issued against Aubry was to expire. That order barred him from seeing his daughter or going anywhere near Berry and Martinez.

  1. Please. Sounds like Halle’s back was against the wall. I knew she was in trouble when Gabe claimed in court that Oliver threatened to kill him. He wasn’t as dumb as they thought he was. Anyway, this is good news for Nahla…at least I hope so.

  2. This is good news if it’s true but I’m pretty sure this was to save Halle’s reputation. Her image was being dragged in the mud with all of this.

  3. Halle knew they was going to believe what Gabriel said because he was so bruised up and Halle may have ended up losing her daughter and Oliver (to Jail) so she was ready to deal. If you can’t beat them join them!
