Nicki Minaj Takes Shots at Mariah Carey in New Music

The Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey beef may have simmered down a bit, but if Nicki’s music is any indication, the beef may not be over. For the last few months, both of the industry divas have been rumored to not be getting along on the set of American Idol. Both were selected to be new judges, but apparently Mariah Carey wasn’t too happy to share the panel with Nicki, someone she feels hasn’t paid enough dues to judge upcoming talent. Although sources close to the production staff suggested the beef was nothing but a manufactured publicity stunt, things took a drastic turn for the worst when Mariah Carey claimed that Nicki Minaj threatened to shoot her. Nicki denied the claims, and took to her Twitter account to put Mariah in her place.

Since then, the production staff insists things have gotten better between the two stars, but I guess that still doesn’t mean Nicki won’t come for Mariah in her music.

On Nicki’s new album, The Re-Up, a re-release of Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded, Minaj seems to come for Mariah on the “Hell Yeah” track which also features Parker. She basically dedicated the entire second verse to taking shots at Mariah:

But you’re boring as f-ck, though
Why these b-tches in the game so cutthroat?
Why they can’t just let young Nicki live?
Why they gotta feel the wrath to know Nicki is
Not playin, boss for real
When they go against the kid it’s gon’ cost for real
Came straight from the hood with the cross appeal
That’s why these big names wanna toss the deal
Okay
I’ll take it, sign on the dotted line
But I’m quick to the check a b-tch if she outta line
Shout out Mike, Darnell, and Nigel
Why these bums so mad that the queen on idol
Huh?
Say cheese to that
When they see me on the screen check E! for that
B-tches lyin’ on the kid
I won’t leave for that
Intimidated by my aura (ora) where Rita at?
Send a GT vodka
In a helicopter
Me and my Japanese b-tches and Osaka
BET, I was good there
Front row, yea, always in a good chair
Why the f-ck would I leave when I’m good here?
Let me send a twitpic of my good hair, yeah
Yeah, yeah
