Rihanna Says She and Chris Brown Are Not Together, But She Does What She Wants

So are Rihanna and Chris Brown back together? Rihanna and Chris Brown’s status hadn’t been confirmed by either one of the artists. But the rumors started up nonetheless, the story surrounding their reunion changing on a daily basis. And they have been going no stop ever since Chris’ announced break-up from girlfriend of two years Karrueche Tran. Although Chris gained his single status back, it appeared that he was not going to remain by himself for long as he was supposedly reconciling with Rihanna, being spotted out with the pop singer on numerous occasions in public. Chris’ romance with Karrueche though was said to have not officially ended, gossip suggesting that the two are still seeing much of each other, even going on dinner dates together. The reports have made Karrueche a target of Rihanna and her crew’s shade throwing sessions, the singer supposedly not too happy about what she was hearing about Kae and Chris. Rihanna herself has ruffled some feathers too as some of her good friendships have suffered over the mere thought of her and Chris getting back together. And have led folks to believe that Rihanna and Chris Brown were back together and just not revealing it to the public. Rihanna however says that her and Chris are nothing more than friends at this point, regardless of what people are suspecting. During the interview, Rihanna was asked about her status with Chris Brown, she plainly stated that they are not in a relationship, her exact quote:

”No. Not together.”

Rihanna also spoke on collaborating with Chris on the song “Nobody’s Business” on her upcoming album “Unapologetic”, a “true and honest album” according to her, and how she feels about everyone knowing about what goes on in her personal life:

”Basically, it’s the way I look at everything regarding my personal life. Even though you have to witness it as being documented at every second, it still is mine. This is mine at this point, and when it gets to my music and stuff like that, I’ll give and I’ll give, and I’ll give. I just feel like I need to keep a little bit for me that I get to decide…I’m not putting it out there, I can’t run away from that. If I had it my way, it would be really nobody’s business.”

Rihanna said that her and Chris Brown are not together but that won’t stop her from giving him compliments:

”He’s dope too. He’s kinda alright.”

Rihanna also says that the things that she reads about herself in the media doesn’t normally faze her much and praises Madonna for her unique style and would love to do a song with her.

While Rihanna claims that her and Chris are not an item at the moment, she has not refrained from shading Karrueche any chance that she gets.
