Chris Brown’s nasty Twitter feud with comedic writer Jenny Johnson didn’t end too well for either. Chris Brown has been slammed through numerous media organizations for what they perceive to be sexist tweets (not to mention he eventually deleted his account), while Jenny Johnson received numerous death threats from Chris Brown’s fans, whom he affectionately refers to as “Team Breezy.” Although Johnson admits most of the tweets were more funny than dangerous, she did admit that she found it disturbing that anyone would want to kill her over a Twitter spat with Chris Brown. When the writer realized that the threats were growing in numbers, an investigation became necessary.

In a interview with Celebuzz, Jenny Johnson reveals what her life has been like since Twitter beefing with Chris Brown, who she’s allegedly been harassing on Twitter for several months.

Regarding the death threats, she says:

“We are doing a bit of investigating… to see who are writing them and if they should be taken seriously — or just something we need to ignore. We are trying to discover if it’s just a bunch of kids goofing off or something else.I’m just letting it go right now.”

Fame came quickly for the up and coming comedic writer after she had her back and forth spat with Chris Brown. Johnson admits it’s still weird to see her name in so many headlines:

“I was surprised to wake up and read about it and find my name on The View and CNN.”

The motive for Johnson going after Brown on Twitter isn’t a surprising one. She admits to Paper Magazine that she pretty much went after the singer because she just doesn’t like him:

“I’m not a fan of Chris Brown’s for obvious reasons. Hello, he beat up a girl. And he was so unapologetic about it and then continued to do things that were inappropriate — like throwing chairs or saying homophobic things to nightclub bouncers. He keeps telling people to ‘get over it.’ How do you get over it? Seriously?”

Jenny Johnson also admits that she has keyboard courage, and she wouldn’t be so courageous if she ever saw Chris Brown in person:

“I’d probably run for the hills. He replied to a tweet once. I was proud that after six months of harassing the guy, all my hard work paid off.”

In related news, Chris still hasn’t reactivated his Twitter account. According to Twitter, the singer has 30 days after deleting his account to reactivate. If he misses the 30 day limit, he will lose the account permanently. As for now, he seems to be happy with just having an Instagram account. Earlier today, he told his fans that he feels the only person in the world who can relate to right now is late rapper Tupac Shukar:

  1. I honestly feel both were wrong. But Chris is the celeb, so he has to learn how to have thicker skin. All he is doing is making himself look like the thug they always thought he was.

  2. WTF is this loser comparing himself to Tupac?! Tupac had SUBSTANCE. He was compassionate and CARED about people. Chris is selfish, arrogant, and only cares for himself. I watched him talk down to his own fans and he keeps calling what he did to Rihanna “old.” He’s a disgrace and not even a man. How dare he compare himself to PAC.

    1. Not to mention that Tupac was actually very intelligent. He kept up with politics and got directly involved with the black community. The only similarity I see is that both are impulsive, but Pac was just a better person and he really brought something to the community. He made black men want to be righteous and be smarter. But as you can see with Chris’ fans, he makes his following want to be ignorant. He doesn’t encourage them to be better, he actually makes them worse. He’s not a leader and certainly not a Pac.

  3. I’m not surprised by anything his fans do anymore. Most of them are young and don’t know any better. Chris should talk to them about the death threats. That’s unacceptable.

  4. Umm Breezy you are NOT Tupac. You’re actually more aligned with Bobby Brown. Just own it already. Pac died a legend and icon…you won’t bruh. And keep on with your antics, and you will die as a dsgrace. Our actions determine our legacies, so you need to get it together. Sorry. Just sayin…

  5. I don’t think he was trying to compare himself to Tuoac. I think he just means he feels misunderstood and we all know Tupac was GREATLY misunderstood by the media. That’s all he was trying to say.

  6. I do not condone Chris Brown’s response at all however, did EVERYBODY miss the fact that this lady, for lack of better words, started in on him? She has blatantly disrespected and harrassed this young man for 6 months that she admitted to! She does not get a pass to demean him because of what he does just like she doesn’t deserve death threats for voicing her opinion. This “comedic writer” needs to do just that and not use her writing talent to tear down someone no matter who it is.
