50 Cent Angrily Ends Interview When Asked About French Montana

50 cent

50 Cent may be the king of all Hip Hop beefs, but that doesn’t mean he wants to be asked about those beefs in his interviews. The rapper is currently at odds with a few people, with his biggest beefs of the moment revolving around his business deal gone bad with boxer Floyd Mayweather and his hilarious Twitter showdown with French Montana that resulted in 50 paying the up and coming rapper a visit at the offices of his music label that resulted in cancelled meetings and a shaken up staff. Regardless of 50 making it clear that he would take his problems with French Montana further than Twitter, French Montana continues to take shots at 50 and insult him on Twitter.

50 Cent has new music out and decided to give an interview to XXL Magazine about his current music that seems to be doing well on iTunes. The interview was going well until the interviewer decided he was going to ask the rapper about French Montana.

After 50 explained why he has beef with Game and Young Buck, he then explains why he feels it’s disrespectful for up and coming rappers and rappers who don’t have any hits under their belts to try to take shots at him when he collaborated with them:

“…Like, he hasn’t had a hit. There’s no hits under his actual belt. I don’t give a f*ck how cool he is in the streets or in the neighborhood. He don’t have no hits. So if you get on his record, you’re helping him; you’re actually helping him because of the exposure. If you’re someone that has an established sales history, you’re collaborating with a new guy, it gives confirmation that this is cool. So, that was done for both of them [Game and Young Buck] at that point. And it didn’t mean anything for them. That’s like me telling Dr. Dre “kiss my a*s” at this point, when I come to him and he gave me the biggest records of my career. Would that be cool to you personally? That’s not cool to me.”

I guess this response from 50 prompted the interviewer to ask 50 about his current Hip Hop rival, French Montana. Things got ugly after that.

When French Montana’s name comes up, 50 says:

“Hey, can you do me a favor? Listen, do me a favor. Don’t mention artists that haven’t sold records while I’m talking to you.”

The interviewer proceeds to explain why he brought up French Montana and asks the question anyway, to which 50 Cent just hangs up the phone in his face.
