And There’s More: The Latest Gossip on Chris Brown, Rihanna, & Karrueche Tran

Chris Brown and Rihanna are supposed to be back together, well at least that’s the picture Rihanna’s Instagram account seems to be painting these days. The international pop star is on a roll as far as her career goes right now as she is still celebrating her first number one album, and she has Chris Brown back in her life, sans his former aspiring model girlfriend Karrueche Tran. However, Karrueche has not really left the picture, and the recent photos of her leaving his home and showing up to the set of shoots for his recent music videos is proof of that. Rihanna of course isn’t too thrilled about any of this, so she’s been shading Karrueche on her Twitter and Instagram accounts, while her friends join in on the good times.

Two months after Chris Brown confirmed the split with Karrueche, he and Rihanna continue to deny that they are back together. Now we have just taken it to be the two don’t plan to ever confirm they are together for career reasons (and they didn’t necessarily confirm they were together when they were younger either), so we have just assumed that they are back on despite their denials. And it’s even been reported recently that Rihanna is even planning to bring in the new year with Chris and his mother in Barbados. There’s even talk that the two will take the stage together at the upcoming Grammy Awards.

But we’ve been hearing that everything isn’t what it seems. In fact, some of Chris Brown’s fans have been telling us that Chris Brown is very single. We weren’t sure why they would say that when Rihanna’s Instagram account is painting another picture, but a recent email might shed some light on a possible scenario we didn’t originally consider.

A source tells Urban Belle Magazine that the media has gotten the whole story wrong. According to this person, Rihanna and Chris Brown are not together:

“Chris Brown and Rihanna are not together! Chris is single. He is not with Karrueche either! The love triangle does not exist. Chris is a single man who is famous and has decided he wants to enjoy himself and enjoy being single. He does care for Rihanna and Karrueche very much, and he refuses to cut both off at the moment. He loves being around Rihanna, but he is still very close with Karrueche Tran too. He could have dropped Karrueche as a stylist, but he didn’t want to. He genuinely has a “friendship” with both ladies, and they both know that. But at the end of the day, Chris is still a man, who is famous, and has a whole lot of groupies. He is getting it in with Rihanna, but he is definitely telling groupies he is single because he is!”

 

When we asked the source why Rihanna would try to make it appear that the two are back together on her Instagram account, the source answers:

“Rihanna hates Karrueche. A lot of the pictures and comments she posts on her Instagram account are all for show. She wants to get a reaction out of Kae, and Kae knows that. But Rihanna is also a superstar, she knows Chris isn’t hers exclusively, but she wants her fans to think they are back together and she is his number one. Rihanna is risking a lot to have Chris back in her life, so she has to make it look like he’s all hers. She’s ashamed of the truth, and the truth is they aren’t officially back together and they won’t be until Chris decides that is what he wants. Rihanna will continue to fake like Chrihanna is back on, but they aren’t.

“And Rihanna is a very possessive and insecure person. As beautiful as she is, she can’t take being with Chris. Her insecurity led to the fight. Chris posted pictures of other girls the other day on Instagram and Rihanna went nuts. She even posted naked pictures of herself on Instagram as a way to “remind” Chris of what he is missing. And that’s why he isn’t confident that he should go back to her. He knows it will be nothing but drama.”

 

On why Chris posted a picture of Rihanna on his instagram account:

“People have to smarten up. Chris is a celebrity. All press is good press. He cares about Rihanna and they are very close friends, but he thinks it’s funny that people care so much about his love life. Posting pictures of Rih is kind of his way of getting a rise out of the media and the fans. And it works. He loves the attention.”

 

And we also asked the insider on Karrueche’s finances. For the last few weeks, it’s been speculated that Chris bought Karrueche a house (his rep denied the claim) and he is still paying her bills. According to our source, that’s not exactly true:

“There’s a lot about Karrueche that people don’t really know and that’s because they are Rihanna fans. So they need to think the worst of her I guess. But Karrueche is not broke. Never was. Her family has money, she grew up in a prestigious neighborhood, and her circle also comes from money. She does not need Chris to take care of her, she’s good. Karrueche has dreams and she has a fashion line. Not to mention, she is one of Chris’ stylist. She’s got some other things in the works, and is meeting a lot of big time people in the next couple of weeks to make things happen. She’s not lazy by any means. The only huge gift Chris gave her is a car and he gave her that long before the break up.

“Karrueche is a strong person. Despite Rihanna’s fans and Rihanna herself trying to break her, she keeps a smile on her face and is focused on her career. Karrueche refuses to respond to Rihanna on Instagram, and that’s really what Rihanna wants. I don’t know how Kae does it, but none of this stuff bothers her. She doesn’t have any beef with Rihanna, but she thinks Rihanna is wasting her time going after her so much because Chris is going to do what he wants to do. And if anyone knows that, Karrueche does.

People think they know what’s going on with these three, but they couldn’t be more wrong. The ball is in Chris’ court and he’s not in any rush to be committed again, not even to Rihanna. “
