It’s been a crazy 48 hours for two of the most popular celebrity couples that ended due to some pretty nasty situations involving domestic violence. Of course no break up and reconciliation has been as big or as talked about in the media as Chris Brown and Rihanna’s, and for the last couple of months, their “romance” has been a confusing one since Chris seemed to be stringing along both Rihanna and other ex girlfriend Karrueche Tran at the same time. This has caused the two ladies to become some kind of enemies, and both have taken to their social networking accounts to take shots at the other and fight for Chris Brown’s attention. It got so frustrating for Rihanna that she eventually reclaimed her single status on her Instagram account, but things took a drastic turn on Christmas Day when Chris and Rihanna attended a Lakers game together front and center.
While there are many people who were disgusted by this and even more angry that Rihanna has no problems being affectionate and kissing the guy who beat her face in a few years ago on television, there are still many people who support the reunion. Unsurprisingly, Evelyn Lozada is one of them.
Evelyn, who seems to be good friends with Rihanna, took to her Instagram account to post about how happy she was Chris and Rihanna seemed to be back together. This didn’t sit well with Evelyn’s fans, especially since Evelyn is a victim of domestic violence herself and rumors suggest she’s also getting back together with her abuser and estranged husband Chad Johnson.

A lot of Evelyn’s fans made it pretty clear they didn’t appreciate Evelyn’s praise for “Chrihanna”:
But Evelyn wasn’t fazed by any of the criticism. As we recently reported, Chad Johnson has already confirmed that he and Evelyn are already living together again. And obviously Evelyn is feeling a little “unapologetic” too about her choice to take Chad back because she posted a quote from Diddy about doing what makes her happy despite what other people think:
She’s such a dumb a-s.
This is sad to me, One victim supporting another victim for getting back together with the dude that smashed her face in, just because she’s done the same thing. I feel sorry for the state of black women. Why? Because apparently this is normal in our communities.
Actually, domestic violence is normal in our communities. They did a study not too long ago that concluded that MOST domestic violence situations that occur happen between black couples. And this explains why most of the Chrihanna supporters are young black kids. Somebody will get mad about this comment, but it’s the truth.
That explains a lot. I’ve been trying to figure out why so many of my girlfriends think this is soooo cute. Ugh. So sad.

I’m tired of people saying that it was a “mistake” that happened with Rih, Chris. Ev, and Chad. You don’t beat the crap out of someone by accident and you damn sure don’t headbutt someone my accident. The hell? People are really wildin.
Sidenote, Evelyn is not black. She’s puerto rican idiot. Just thought I’d remind you ladies. But back on topic, it’s a sad situation but people have to live their own lives and make their own choices. All we can do is sit back and watch and eventually say, “We told you so.” We all know neither one of these “love stories” will end well.
Actually Puerto Ricans like many from the West Indies have black blood in them. Thanks slavery.
SMH! Like I said, I really wish Chris would not entertain Rihanna. That chick got on national TV and blamed the entire situation on him. She says everyone thinks he’s a monster, well that’s because she said he was after it happened. And here he is shucking and jiving with her at a Lakers game. Not smart.
She is right though. None of us but them know the truth. Let them live .
We are ‘letting” them live. Hell, it’s these fools that like to put all of their business on Instagram So they are asking for our opinions.
I say let all these idiots be together. Grab your popcorn and enjoy the show. Raise your kids to be better than these clowns. That’s all you can do.

We really have to teach our young black daughters to love and respect themselves more. Especially since the people on TV don’t.
White women do not like seeing celeb women proudly go back to their abusers. People will loose sponsorships because of this.
Wow! She really is weaker than I thought. But you know what I think that these woman are just as much the abuser than being abused. I think they like the drama the arguments and the fights they are very petty and imature woman and thats type of stuff turn them on. It’s sad to say but they are one of those (he don’t love me if he don’t beat me woman) and unfortunetly there is nothting anyone can say or do until they get tired of being tired! Besides Evelyn already said that Chad was abusing her throughout the entire relationship so she already know what time it is, I just hope that she doesn’t end up in the hospital!!!!!
I don’t care about Ev or Rih honestly. I’m done with both of them. I won’t be supporting either because i’m tired of women of color looking so damn stupid in the media.
I wish all 4 of them would go away.

I never understood why Ev or Rihanna got any sympathy in the first place when all of this went down. They were ALWAYS going to take these clowns back because deep down inside, they like to get beaten on. They love toxic relationships. I say kudos to them for getting exactly what they deserved, Chris and Chad. Now let us have all the REAL MEN. Thanks ladies.

Oh yeah they are meant to be alright. Trash should be with trash. You get a little break from school and you’re going to spend the whole day defending your fave on blogs. Sad.
Evelyn is desperate. She doesn’t really have a whole lot of options. i don’t know what Rihanna’s problem is except she must really think Chris is the best thing out there. Sucks to be her.

Looking at this from the perspective of domestic violence pertaining to both a man and a woman, I think it’s crucial to consider what actually went down. In no way am I justifying what happened to Rihanna and Evelyn, but that’s based on their being human, not because they’re women. No one deserves to be abused, yet I can’t help but wonder how both incidents STARTED. That’s why I refrain from having any kind of solid opinion about this, aside from the opinion that this is a poor portrayal of relationships. There are so many comments about how stupid Rihanna and Evelyn are for going back, and as I read through them all, I wondered if Chris and Chad are the stupid ones. It’s not as though these are two wholesome mild-tempered women we’re talking about here. I see their displays on social networks (via this site) and it sickens me to my stomach that two people who have been embarrassed, humiliated, and hurt publicly can still be rude, inconsiderate, and oblivious to reality and other people’s feelings. So as far as I’m concerned…… *shrug* Bless them all. They are ALL losing.
