Kim Could Marry Kanye on TV & Planned to Confront Kris at Restaurant

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are telling people they are so in love and want to tie the knot soon, but unfortunately, none of that can happen as long as Kim is still legally married to NBA star Kris Humphries. Kris and Kim were married for a measly 72 days, as Kim filed for divorce because she says she realized that things just weren’t going to work out  between them. Since then, the back and forth between these two has dragged out the divorce, and recent reports suggest that the current hold up is the engagement ring Kris gave Kim but wants back because he thinks she married him for ratings. It’s no secret that Kim got paid big bucks to put her wedding on television, so Kris thinks it’s possible that she only married him for the pay out.

Those close to Kim insist the reality star is furious that Kris is asking for the ring back and as a result, they say she planned to confront him the other day at a restaurant in Miami. After rumors spread that Kris Humphries would be making an appearance at the restaurant, they say Kim got an entourage of nothing but men (including her sister Kourtney’s man Scott Disick) to meet him there. Apparently, Kim wanted to talk to him face to face without attorneys to get him to move forward with the divorce and give up his fight for the return of the engagement ring.

The Miami New Times reports:

The five-person dinner party, which included Scott Disick, long-time boyfriend of Kourtney Kardashian, took over an eight-seat table. Kim Kardashian looked like, well, Kim Kardashian, petite and smoldering, dressed in a snug black dress with a high neckline and ruffly white collar. Several of the men in the restaurant discreetly noted the size of that famous backside. (We’ve gotta admit, the paparazzi has not done it justice.)

At first, Kardashian sat at the head of the table, flanked by her entourage on either side. But after a few minutes, she moved around the table to sit on the end, next to Disick, facing the doors of the restaurant. She chatted a bit with her crew, but spent most of her time with her eye on the door — anticipating Humphries’ arrival, perhaps? The other diners at Katsuya were impressively chill; we saw not a single camera snapping photos of the famous faces at the next table over.

At some point, dessert arrived at their table. Kardashian & Co. ate, then, at 9:30 p.m., all five abruptly left the restaurant.

“She was embarrassed,” an onlooker confided. Why? “She realized what she was doing [i.e. awkwardly intercepting her ex-husband in public], and she didn’t want to be a part of it.”

 

The publication claimed that they doubt this was just a stunt, considering that Kim came with no cameras in tow. Kris must have gotten word that Kim would be there because the publication claims even after Kim left, Kris never showed.

 

Perhaps Kim is also getting more and more impatient for the divorce because now she’s revealed that she does in fact think she may want to marry current beau Kanye West on television:

“Never say never. So many other people I know have gotten married on TV and it has worked out amazing for them.”
