Beyonce has a lot of big things in store for 2013, but for now, tongues are still wagging from her leaked GQ Magazine cover for the February issue. One year into motherhood and Beyonce still managed to look amazing on the magazine’s cover. But in addition to her cover girl news, Beyonce is set to release her fifth studio album this year, and perform as the headline act for the Super Bowl. While many are anticipating her new music, for now, all anyone can really do is speculate on what tricks Beyonce has up her sleeves for the next album. So far, it’s already been confirmed that her husband Jay-Z will make an appearance, as both were photographed in the studio together recently. Beyonce is usually a very private celebrity, however, she’s been opening up about her personal life a lot more as of late. The singer now has an Instagram account in which she uses to actively upload pictures of her current fashions, outings, and handwritten letters; not to mention she has a Tumblr blog she uses to share pictures of her vacations and family life. She plans to take her openness a step further as the singer is set to release a documentary on HBO in February.

A new trailer for the documentary was just released, and in the clip, Beyonce explains why she wanted to do a documentary at this point of her career:

“I always battle with how much do I reveal about myself. How do I stay current? How do I stay soulful? I felt like I have been so commercially successful, it wasn’t enough. It’s something really stressful about having to keep up with that. You can’t express yourself. You can’t grow. It is the battle of my life. So I set a goal. And my goal was independence.

“Everyone was like, ‘What is she going to do now?’

“People see celebrities. And they see money and fame. But I’m a human being. I cry, I get scared. I get nervous, just like everyone else.”

The documentary is said to show private moments that include Beyonce’s pregnant belly, ultrasound, and late nights of prepping for performances.

    1. Oh please. Bey could release a video of her pushing Blue out her cooch and you people will still say it’s fake. You don’t want to believe it because you don’t like her and need as many negative things you can make up about this woman to cosign your jealousy that you try to mask under your hate. It’s childish. Smh.

    2. I doubt she used a surrogate but if she did, what’s the problem? So what! Women use surrogates sometimes. Big freaking deal! She had the money to do it and it’s her choice. Having a surrogate is not that serious. You people keep bringing it up like it’s a crime or something. If that’s the worst you have on her (even though I don’t think it’s true) then Bey has done pretty good in her life.

  1. I like the fact that she was honest on how stressful it is to stay commercially successful. So many aspiring entertainers just have no clue how tough it is in that business. I can’t wait to see this.

  2. Love Bey but this seems so forced…all of this. The IG account, GQ cover. etc. just screams desperation. I’ll still support her and buy her album. IJS.
