Tiny & T.I. Cover Ebony Magazine’s ‘Black Love’ Issue

T.I. and Tiny have been through a lot in their relationship. The now married couple have survived T.I.’s numerous legal troubles and stints in prison and then there’s  the terrible controversy the two endured just a few months after their wedding day. T.I. and Tiny were pulled over for making an illegal turn in Los Angeles. But things got worse when cops discovered the couple had ecstasy on them. Both were arrested, however, T.I. had to serve another 11 months in prison for violating probation. In an attempt to show the world that they aren’t the crazy couple people think they are, Tiny revealed recently that they felt it would be best to do a reality show with their family. The Family Hustle ended up becoming a big hit and from the looks of the show, it’s very clear  that Tiny and T.I. are one tough couple . These two take their vows of “til death do us part” very seriously. So it’s no surprise that the couple made Ebony’s cover for their “Black Love” issue.

T.I. and Tiny were selected with a couple of other notable black couples (Meagan Goode and husband DeVon Franklin, T.D. Jakes and Serita) and all dished on how they manage to preserve the love in their marriages.

T.I. says:

“Once I made my mind up that I was going to be committed to this relationship, I started being married then and there.… Since I’ve been married, it’s the same relationship, we’re the same people. We treat each other the same way, and we’re just as happy now as we were before.”

 

Meagan Good reveals that as a newlywed, she keeps the spark fresh by surprising her husband with sexy lingerie:

“What do I do for him that’s romantic? I try to surprise him whenever he comes to town. I wear nice things…Wink!”

 

And Bishop T.D. Jakes gave some very solid advice to married people:

“Marriage requires work and expecting the unexpected.… Don’t let other people design a marriage you can’t live with. Keep other people out your business. Every marriage is different.”
