Kordell and Porsha Stewart are getting a divorce. Although the couple has only been married since 2011, to many who watched season five of Real Housewives of Atlanta, it was pretty clear that things weren’t as picture perfect as the couple wanted it to seem. Porsha’s cast mates have already expressed on numerous occasions that they felt like Kordell was too controlling of Porsha, and although they do support her during such a hard time, it’s apparent that they aren’t necessarily shocked by the impending divorce. But one person was shocked by Kordell’s filing and that’s Porsha herself. Although Kordell’s attorney said in a public statement that the divorce was something Kordell put a lot of thought into, Porsha’s camp is saying she’s the one that wanted to file for divorce first, but decided against it because Kordell told her he wanted to work things out. Porsha’s rep tells omg!:
“Mrs. Stewart had held off on filing for a divorce herself and remained committed to the marriage because Mr. Stewart promised to work on the marriage with her. Instead, he misled her and she found out about the filing in the media. Mrs. Stewart hopes to resolve these personal issues privately with the support of her family, friends and strong faith.”
In the meantime, fans of the show are slamming Kordell for filing for divorce, and by the looks of Kordell’s recent tweets for the past couple of days, the couple’s appearance on RHOA was definitely a huge factor in their demise. Kordell has made it clear several times in his tweets that he regrets doing the show and he didn’t appreciate all the criticism he got from the other housewives and fans.
Hmm…I wonder what was the wake up call for Porsha? I know she wishes she would have just gone through with it now.
If this is true, Kordell is a slimeball.
Doesn’t even matter. She needs to thank God it’s over and pray that she develops a better judge of character. He was not for her.

Damn. It’s all for the best then if they both wanted out. I think Porsha was just trying to talk herself into wanting to be a trophy wife. I don’t think that’s ever who she was.
She can do way better than Kordell. Isn’t he on the zesty side anyways. I need to holla at my ATL connects about this one.
