Chris Brown and Drake’s beef is ongoing, and recently both took their feud to wax. Drake took a few jabs at Chris and his relationship with Rihanna in his song “5AM in Toronto,” and Chris decided to clap back in a verse to the remix of Young Jeezy’s “R.I.P.” The beef between Chris and Drake is said to have started over Rihanna, as both have a romantic past with the singer. In several of Chris’ recent interviews, he pretty much confirmed that he doesn’t like Drake and that’s probably not going to ever change. However, both artists are still in the middle of legal proceedings over that club brawl that took place over a year ago, and now new reports suggest Chris’ longtime bodyguard Big Pat is now suing Drake due to the brawl. Interestingly enough, in the suit Big Pat confirms the rumors that stated the brawl started because Drake sent over a letter to Chris bragging that he was sleeping with Rihanna.

Here’s the report according to the NY Daily News:

Chris Brown’s beefy bodyguard is suing Drake and the SoHo nightclub where the hip-hop stars brawled last June, and used filing as an opportunity to take a swipe at the Canadian rapper.

Hired muscle Patrick Strickland snidely refers to Drake as “a popular and successful, albeit critically derided, entertainer,” in his lawsuit filed Monday in Manhattan Supreme Court.

Strickland, 43, who hails from Queens Village, claims the hot spot, W.i.P., is responsible for the ugly head cut he suffered during the melee because it sat Brown’s entourage and Drake’s crew near each other, even though staffers knew the celebrities were beefing over sultry R&B songstress Rihanna.

The seating arrangement created “a substantial and unjustifiable risk that a mass altercation would occur between the two camps,” the suit for an unspecified amount of damages states.

Moreover, the club over-served Drake and his posse, and had an employee hand Brown a note from Drake that read: “I’m f–king the love of your life,” according to the Strickland suit.

Big Pat was injured pretty seriously in the brawl, and had to get stitches for the attack.

  1. Smh. I still think this fight was stupid. Chris and Drake could have been cool. Dating the same person doesn’t mean you can’t get along. This is so petty to me.

  2. If Chris got mad about this, he should be mad about all of the other men Rih’s smashed in the business. That list is long. Be confident or date someone else Chris.

  3. So why is he suing Drake when he clearly stated that the club knew they didn’t get along and that the club purposely sat them next to each other and the waiter delivered the note knowing they don’t like each other. Sue the club for sure, but not Drake. And he said the club over served Drake and his people too much drinks. So this is all the clubs fault. They wanted some action to happen, but they didn’t know it would go as far as it did.

  4. I think that was lame of Drizzy & that’s my boo. I love Chris too & I wish they didn’t have these issues….. because Rihanna is living her life & they are tied up in all these legal suits because they want to flex on each other.
