Erica Dixon and Momma Dee‘s relationship is clearly not on the up and up these days as the two had a heated exchange on season 2 of Love & Hip Hop Atlanta that just kicked off this past Monday. Erica and Momma Dee looked to be on good terms at the end of season 1 but things changed as Momma Dee is still trying her hardest to convince Scrappy that he is better off with Shay Johnson despite his engagement to Erica which was questioned when Erica was spotted without her engagement ring at a premiere party. Though they aren’t all buddy buddy with each other at the moment, Erica has said previously that things weren’t always this rocky between her and Scrappy’s mother as her and Momma Dee were very close at one point but that when her and Scrappy started seriously dating each other, that’s when Momma Dee turned on her. During an interview that she did with Global Grind, Erica touched on her situation with Momma Dee again and the fight that supposedly went down between her and Shay was mentioned to Erica along with the talk about Erica pulling out a blade on Shay. And just like before, Erica says she doesn’t need any weapons to handle herself:
“Let me tell you something, one thing about Erica, if I ever get into any altercation, with anybody, trust and believe I don’t need to use a weapon, no way, shape or form. I don’t need no weapon period…Don’t come for me, period.”
Erica was then asked about how she felt about all the back and forth between her and Scrappy when it comes to their relationship and the advice that she gives other women going through her same situation. And she says:
“It’s like I wish this n*gga would get his sh*t together because I know how it feels to be back and forth and to actually really love somebody and to want to be with them. It’s like ‘Get it together.’ And eventually, you know, if I know somebody going through a similar situation, I tell them like ‘He’ll get it together eventually.’ It takes some time ’cause it takes longer for n*ggas to mature but they’ll eventually get there.”
And when it comes to Momma Dee, Erica says that she speaks when she sees her but other than that she doesn’t want to deal with “Satan’s sister”:
“I pray for Momma Dee. If I see her, I speak, but other than that, I don’t want no dealings with her because that’s Satan’s sister. Like, I can’t…That’s Satan’s sister.”
Erica also says that she has tried to keep the peace with Momma Dee but hasn’t been able to do that and that she think Momma Dee is a miserable, old woman who needs to get laid:
“I tried to find the peace, but it’s been nothing but just negativity, and I think it’s because she’s old and she’s miserable and she don’t have a man. Like, she need some d*ck. Let’s just be honest like she needs it at this point. I wish somebody would give it to her. But at this point, it is what it is.”
As for Scrappy, who Erica is now back together with, Erica was asked what was the most romantic thing Scrappy has ever done for her. And she says:
“It’s not what he did, it’s what he said. We were cool, no beef, and I was just in the kitchen fixing me something to drink. And he was just like ‘I love you. I can’t wait to spend my life with you.’ And he was like ‘As a man, baby, what am I doing that I can perfect that you’re not satisfied with?’ And it was just like ‘Wow, like really?’ And I didn’t have an answer. I was so stunned like ‘Did he really ask me this?’ Scrappy, Mr. Head Bussa and Money in the Bank. So you know, that kind of blew me.”
Erica was caught not rocking her engagement ring at the premiere party for LHHATL season two and was without it for her Global Grind interview too. When asked why she wasn’t wearing her engagement ring and if her and Scrappy were still going to get married, Erica laughs and says:
“My ring is getting cleaned.”
Along with Erica, K. Michelle also chatted with Global Grind, revealing that she was content with not having a man as she sees all the drama that her cast mates who are in relationships go through and says that a good man for her is someone that can put a smile on her face and one who can deal with all of her personalities. K. also says that a good woman is a strong woman that doesn’t fold under pressure and can hold her family together at all times.

Love Erica but I’m getting tired of her and Lil Scrappy’s fake storyline. She just said it was over two days ago and now the ring is getting cleaned? Whatever. I’ll still watch but it’s getting old.
It doesn’t take a a week for a ring to get cleaned. I’m married and it only takes about three hours for mine to get cleaned up. She’s lying and most likely trying to hype people up about her storyline this season. They all do it.
Right. They are doing the most. But hey, they have to keep those checks coming in.

She doesn’t just need some paynus, she needs some GOOD paynus. There’s a difference. The latter will have you forgetting to call your friends and family members. You’ll be ghost so much they will start calling you to make sure you’re still alive.
