Last night was the premiere of season two of Love and Hip Hop Atlanta. And just by last night’s episode alone, it’s clear that Mimi Faust and Stevie J. are still involved in that crazy love triangle with Joseline Hernandez. Despite Mimi dating someone else over the summer, even at the recent press rounds for the show there was plenty of drama between these three. Joseline even got so heated that Stevie J. bought Mimi some Jimmy Choo’s that she refused to attend an event. As a result of dealing with Stevie J. for 15 years, many have given Mimi all kinds of terrible labels. And the reality star eventually snapped over the criticism in a video, and screamed and cursed that her situation isn’t that different from most. However, most people still aren’t buying Mimi’s point, and she is still getting questioned about why she’s not being a better role model. At a recent press event for the show, Mimi made it clear that she’s not interested in being a role model. In fact, she’s over people asking her about it too. Mimi says:

“I’m not a role model for anybody. That wasn’t my role that I set out to be a role model when I did this show. My situation is my situation. I didn’t come on here to have people look up to me and follow behind what I do.I gotta deal with my sh*t how I feel fit, not how I think someone else is going to look at me. ‘Well, let me think about this because a young girl might be looking.”

There you have it.

In related news, we’d love to hear from you about what you thought about last night’s episode. Was it all you were expecting and more? Did it satisfy? Did it disappoint? Go OFF in the comment section below.

  1. Well I’m glad she’s being real with herself! She is definitely not a role model. LOL.

The show was awesome. Just as trashy as I wanted it to be. And Joseline calling Mimi a maid all night was so hilarious. I didn’t expect Mimi to attack Stevie at the end tho. And she bit him too! Hilarious.

  2. It was off the chain! I loved K. Michelle and Ariane’s gangsta a-s argument and the fact they squashed it like grown women. Erica gets prettier with every scene she’s in. She’s too pretty for Scrappy. Momma Dee looks like Scar from The Lion King. Joseline looked like a straight up prostitute walking around in panties and a bra…oh and that ugly fur coat. Shay looks like a cartoon character from Arthur.

    1. #DEAD at Momma Dee looking like Scar from The Lion King! Maybe that explains how the hell Lil Scrappy is a prince of anything!

    1. Hollin…Hey maid…I see you look pretty in your maid outfit like you always do. I said that line at 15x in my house last night!

  3. Mimi, I really hope this reaches you: you are a desperate idiot that IS a bad role model for your daughter.

  4. Not everyone wants to be a role model so I wish people would STFU about that. Anyway, the show was funny as hell. Momma Dee annoyed the hell out of me last night. She keeps calling Scrappy the prince of the south. What world do they live in?

    1. If you are on TV, you are a role model like it or not. Kids will emulate your lunacy. Just know that there are many teenage women and women in general that actually agreed with Mimi running back to Stevie to the point to move into his house.

  5. NEWS FLASH……Most of you reality stars, are definitely not role models…..have you seen yourself….LOL

  6. Am I the only person puzzled by why the hell Mimi attacked Stevie J. and not Joseline, the person who actually called her a maid?

    1. Mimi knows better. Joseline hit Erica in the jaw when she popped off. Mimi doesn’t want none of Joseline.

    2. Mimi was mad at Steebie because he didn’t immediately throw Joseline out when she called her the maid. And she didn’t want to get whooped by Joseline either!

  7. That one episode demolished that whole season of LHHNY. I kid you not.

And as far as the whole role model thing…I actually think the only person Mimi needs to be a role model for is her daughter. In real life, she needs to figure out her situation with Stevie J. before her daughter gets old enough to understand what’s going on. If not, she’ll be screwed up when she grows up.

  8. I’m baffled by all the grown people who watch this trash. What is wrong with you? Why do you want to watch such trashy people for an hour for the next several weeks?

    1. You judgmental people annoy the hell out of me. We’re GROWN. Keyword: GROWN. That means we can watch whatever we want. Just like you can. Trashy TV has been around for a very long time. I watch it because it’s entertaining. Calm down, have a drink, and have an orgasm. Then maybe you won’t need to be online having a heart attack about what other adults watch on TV. It’s not that deep.

    2. Get the stick out of your a-s boo. If you don’t, it’s going to hurt worse when you fall. We’re all grown here and can watch what we please and shouldn’t be judged or labeled for it.

  9. I loved it! Steebie is still a hot mess, I about died when I seen Mimi get in the bed with Steebie, Joseline is a real hot mess with her bra and panties and them damn furs, love K. Michelle but couldn’t understand why she was hurt & upset over some old booty, Shay looked a mess as usual, and Momma Dee needs to go find herself some business and a good therapist cause I want to know who told her that she and her kids were a royal family! I never missed a show last season and I won’t miss one this season! I hope they put this mess on DVD or Blu Ray!

I understand that Mimi doesn’t want to be a role, however, someone is always a role model to someone else, even when you’re not trying to be. But she is setting some kind of example for her daughter and if she don’t want her in a messed up relationship when she gets older, then Mimi needs to make quick improvements in life!
