Kenya Moore might have pushed the ratings to an all time high for season five of Real Housewives of Atlanta, but Bravo still views NeNe Leakes as the star of the hit reality series. NeNe has always made more money than the rest of the housewives, especially since it’s been rumored that the spin-off was created around her. We reported recently that NeNe and the rest of the cast were up for raises thanks to a stellar season, but now it appears that NeNe might be now the highest paid housewife in the entire franchise. According to Radar Online, NeNe is set to make a whopping $1 million next season. Here’s the report according to Radar Online:
The Real Housewives of Atlanta star has inked her contract for season 6 of the hit Bravo show, and RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned that she got a raise and is now the highest paid housewife, pulling in a whopping $1 million plus bonuses for the season!
“NeNe is the one viewers watch. She knows that, Bravo knows that and that’s why they gave her a raise,” a source close to production revealed about her pay hike.
As RadarOnline.com previously reported, all of the Atlanta ladies signed their contracts for season 6 before the season 5 reunion has even fully aired, and NeNe is more than pleased with her deal.
“She likes being on the show. NeNe is really happy with the New Normal and Glee, where she can be a real actress, but she knows her bread and butter comes from Bravo and that’s why she’s coming back, ‘cause she can’t turn the money down!”
Congrats to NeNe and the rest of the ladies for not only making more money, but securing their spots for season six.

It’s about time for NeNe. Hell, RHOA has been the highest watched housewives show for a good minute but they were paying them all way less than the white chicks!
NeNe better do it. I really wish Kenya would have gotten the axe though. This season stated off great, but it’s gotten pretty lackluster. I hope they won’t still be talking about those stupid DVDs anymore.
