Are Porsha and Kordell getting back together? The estranged couple quickly became criticized when they allowed cameras into their marriage during their appearance on season five of Real Housewives of Atlanta after many fans of the show and even the other housewives made it clear that they felt Kordell was too controlling of Porsha. Porsha of course defended her husband on numerous occasions, but when she refused to go with her cast mates to a “gentleman’s club” because she said Kordell wouldn’t approve and also told Cynthia she couldn’t have a pageant meeting at her house because her husband wasn’t there, the criticism only intensified.
Porsha wanted to fight for her marriage and figured Kordell wanted to do the same, but in the end he ended up filing for divorce. Completely blindsided by the filing, Porsha confirmed she’s still living with Kordell, and so hurt by the situation that she can’t even think of reconciliation at this point. Although there have been rumors suggesting Kordell has already been entertaining other women romantically and he recently threw jabs at Porsha on Instagram, the retired football player has been pretty mum on the divorce. Interestingly enough, he broke his silence the other day on Instagram, and told his fans after posting a series of old photos of Porsha that he now plans to fight for his marriage.
He even asked his supporters what would be the best vacation spot that he could take Porsha so they could talk about working things out:
Porsha is still in divorce mode, but it’s clear Kordell has now decided that getting a divorce is something he no longer wants to do. We’re all for couples working things out, so we wish these two the best in whatever it is they do decide to do.
Oh wow. Definitely didn’t see this one coming! If he’s willing to start listening to her and be supportive, I’m all for them working it out!
Don’t do it Porsha. I don’t see him ever changing.

Sigh…I just don’t know. I mean, it’s cool that he wants to honor his vows now, but he has to stop with the whole “do what I say or this will happen” crap. That’s not how a marriage works anymore. Women are our own people. We have own minds and bodies. You can’t treat us like children and then want us to give you the benefits we’re supposed to give our spouse. It doesn’t work that way.
I wonder what changed his mind…probably her showing him that she had the courage to move on without him. That usually does it.
F-ck him. She can and needs to do better. This is 2013, she needs a real man who isn’t hell bent on controlling her and giving her ultimatums.
I’m hoping she doesn’t take him back. The way he did went about things was real shady.

I saw this coming! The reason he filed for divorce was so petty! I’m glad he realizes that now. They aren’t perfect but they don’t have serious problems worth divorcing over. I wish them the best of luck.

Porsha stay with him. Both of u made a commitment to each other, maybe he was afraid of your success. Maybe he just want all of our attention. Obviously u and Kordell need to renegotiation ur marriage agreement but this is not worth divorcing.
If Porsha goes back it is still Cordell’s money, house, playing field…Did she sign a pre-nup? Cordell suggest she did, while Porsha suggest she didn’t…hmmm…If he tricked her into signing a pre-nup without a notary then he could lose a lot of his money and assets to Porsha in a divorce…that would explain his change of heart…Cordell needs to kick bricks…
