T.I. and Tiny are one of Hip Hop’s most known couples, but there was always speculation on how their relationship really was thanks to a series of rumors surrounding whether or not T.I. could actually be monogamous considering that it’s not the standard for most rappers. However, T.I. and Tiny decided to take their reputation in their own hands and they decided to open up and show more of their lives through the platform of reality television. The couple managed to get their own show on VH1 entitled T.I. & Tiny: The Family Hustle, and the show has managed to become a hit as people discovered that watching the dynamics of T.I. and Tiny’s family life was actually quite entertaining. The show was picked up for a third season and is set to premiere on April 8. But in  a recent interview with Access Hollywood Live, T.I. and Tiny open up about what it’s like to raise six kids together.

Tiny admits the kids are privileged and get opportunities that she and T.I. didn’t have when they were growing up:

“They have a lot going on that we didn’t get a chance to do.”

T.I. says that it’s because the kids are so privileged that he secretly hopes they endure a little struggle and adversity because he thinks those things will make them better people:

“[They’re] privileged – d*mn rich kids!Sometimes I’m proud that we’re able to afford them a life that we weren’t fortunate enough to have as kids. In another way, I would like them to experience a little struggle and adversity, because it builds character.”

  1. I agree with T.I. Rich kids need to be humbled so they won’t grow up to become self-entitled losers. Hopefully, he’ll continue to raise them in a way that they won’t.

  2. If this ain’t the truth. Had Paris Hilton had some kind of struggle, she wouldn’t be the big mess she is today.

  3. I can definitely agree with T.I. but I can’t have my kids struggle. My goal is to make my kids easier than mine.
